I was standing in a field of pure white flowers the spring air softly blowing due to the light wind. The sun shown brightly down upon me.

I looked around and saw a man standing in the middle of the field, his back towards me.

I took gentle steps towards him, as I was twenty feet away from him he turned around and there he was. Nicolas Falls.

I ran towards him in a rush but before I could get to him the scene around me changed. As well did Nicolas.

His eyes glowed crimson red and he had a sinister smile upon his face. The pure white flowers turned as red as blood, the sky blackened and the smell of death was everywhere.

I looked around to see dozens of dead bodies around me. The closest one was of Chela's, I had to hold back a sob.

I felt a presence behind me and felt lips close to my ear.

"The war isn't over yet," hot air brushed against my face as he said this.

I turned around sharply, my eyes widened as I saw not Nicolas but Caesar.

Before I could do anything his arm shot forward and his hand wrapped around my neck.

"Our game has just begun, Angel."

I gasped for air and shot up from the cot of my bed. I rubbed the sweat off of the back of my neck.

I looked at the small clock that I smuggled into my tent a few months back, it read four forty-eight.

I closed my eyes and rubbed my hands over my face. My fingers fell over my scar that ran on the left side of my face.

I opened my eyes looking at my hands the had long scars running around both of them.

I grabbed a tank top and threw it over my body, tying up my hair in a high ponytail and putting on leggings and tennis shoes.

I stood up and went out of my tent to go for a run since I didn't feel like going to sleep.

It had been two years since anyone had last seen or heard from Caesar, two years since I had pup and lost them.

If I were normal I would have been either a Junior or Senior for High School, but unfortunately I wasn't and I'm in class two or three training still with Cathal to be surprisingly a Beta.

The elders thought me of being able to be Beta due to my performance in the Hunt.

I continue to run threw the forest of my territory smelling all the smells that were in the forest.

I zoned out for to long because I felt something battle ram me in the side making me fall to the ground.

Finally action

Shut up you were gone for the past two years, you can be gone again

I twisted under from my attacker jabbing him on the side of his ribs. They groaned in pain and grabbed around my ankle and pulled me back with their strong grip.

I kicked my other leg back at them hitting them in the face. I quickly stood up and got into a fighting stance waiting for them to stand up.

As they slowly stood up their back face toward me I took a wift of their scent. I relaxed my shoulders.

"God dammit, Cathal, I could've hurt you."

Cathal turned around dusting off the front of his pants, "Unlikely, I have more experience then you. And good thing I found you too, you forgot your necklace in your tent."
