The seven, Will and Thalia had just received a summons from Chiron in the Big House. They all ran to the house. "What is it? Another quest?" Percy asked. "Yes," Chiron said. "This time, your quest will not be decided by prophecy. It will be decided by the gods and the Fates. You'll go to Olympus at 10 am tomorrow. Do not be late." The next day, they were all there at Olympus. "Any time now, my heroes, the Fates will choose the heroes to do the quest," Zeus said. No sooner had he said this that Annabeth was immediately shrouded in a cool, soft shade of glowing silver. She smiled and stepped forward. "The selecting has begun!" Next, Percy was shrouded in a soft layer of turquoise. He stepped forward. Next came Frank, who was emitting a soft blue-red color. He stepped forward. Next was Hazel, who was covered in a translucent earth-tone color. Next, Leo was shrouded with fiery but dark red color. He burst into flames and yelled, "Supersize McShizzle is on fireee!!!!" and stepped forward. Actually, he ran forward. Next, Piper was suddenly shrouded in a beautiful light pink color. She ran forward to face the gods. Jason was next. He got a sky blue color. Will was next. His color was sunny yellow. He stepped forward. Thalia was last. She was colored gold.
