We Get Sorted

Percy POV

We're on the train now, I'm chatting with Annabeth about how we got through the wall. Suddenly, a girl came into our compartment, and said, "Can I join you?" everyone gasped, and Annabeth tackled her in a hug. "Luna?!!" she cried. "What are you doing here?" "Annabeth!" Luna yelled. "Can't. Breathe..." "Oh yeah..." Annabeth replied. "Anyway, is this the school you always go to during school year?" "Yes," Luna replied, "I'm a witch. How about you? Why are you here?" She asked, while sitting down. Just then, the trolley lady came down the hallway. She stopped in front of their compartment and said, "Anything from the trolley, dears?" Leo and I looked at each other, grinned, and said, "We'll take the lot." Just before we set off from Britain, Hecate appeared and gave us each a pouch of wizard money that never ran out. Gods, they were spoiling us. We were feasting on Chocolate Frogs and comparing cards when Hermione showed up. "Hi, Percy. Can I join you demigods?" Suddenly everyone was on their feet, pointing their weapons at her. "Gods, can't anyone say that she's a demigod daughter of Athena and that she was very honored that the Heroes of Olympus and others stayed at her house?" She said. Whew, I thought she was a monster or something. Ugh, she just had to scare us half to Tartarus. "Also," Hermione added, "you better change into robes because we're nearing Hogwarts." "okay" we chorused. We left the train in our robes, taking our leftover candy. When we arrived, the sorting began. "Jackson, Perseus." she read. I walked forward. I sat down on the chair and put the hat on. A few seconds later, the hat yelled, "GRIFFINDOR ALREADY! AHHHH!!! GET ME AWAY FROM THESE MEMORIES!!!!"  Everyone stared at me. It was creepy. "Chase, Annabeth" Again, the same reaction. More stares.

It was dinner and everyone was feasting. Frank, Hazel, Will and Carter went to Hufflepuff, Alex went to Slytherin, Mallory to Ravenclaw and the rest of us to Gryffindor. Dumbledore stood up and said, "I have an announcement." Then he went on to say, blah blah, blah. Then he said something that finally caught my interest. "For this year, we will be cancelling Quidditch. Now, I know this is disastrous for some, but this year, we are hosting a very special event. The Triwzard Tournaments." Whispers and rumors rippled through the crowd. I heard Hermione gasp and tell her friends all about it. One of the rumors happened to reach us. "I heard the Tournaments were very dangerous and that many have died!" the boy, Neville, I think told us. "Now, for your own safety, no one under 17 may join, but the exchange students may." Dumbledore continued. After the feast, Hecate met us in the hallway on the way to the dorms. "In the dorms, there is a room marked 'Exchange Students'. Inside, there are rooms for each of you. There is also a living room and a game room. You will know whose room is whose when you get there. Good luck with your quest, heroes." she said. We all ran to our respective dorms. Huh. Pretty nice, the Griffindor dorms. Oh, there's the door. We entered. "Oh. Wow." Annabeth said, voicing what everyone was thinking. There were doors lining the hallway, each a different color. Names were spelled out on the doors in Celestial Bronze. When I went in my room, it kept on shifting to my wants and needs. There was only 1 thing that was clear to me. It was perfect. From what I heard from the others, their rooms were just the same. We checked the living room out. Wow. There was a huge 60" TV with an Xbox connected to it. There was a table in there with a letter. Jason opened it. "Dear Heroes, are you having a lovely time there in Hogwarts? If you have any problems, you can contact me with this unlimited enchanted bag of drachmas. Rachel has just spouted a prophecy which I believe to be for this quest. Here it is.
