-Serena's POV-
I woke up in the morning, my eye lids so heavy. All I wanted was to go back to sleep but my dad soon yelled up the stairs "WAKE UP !?!" He yelled aggressively.
I got up and put on the uniform that the school had provided for me. I looked in the mirror and my eyes were so puffy. I walked down the stairs to prepare breakfast.
"Where's mom??"
"Gone"
"Gone where ??"
"NUN OF YOUR BUSINESS SERENA NOW STFU ASKING AND GO TO SCHOOL!"
"Wow ." I mumbled under my breath.
I walked out the door to ride the bus.
I then went looking for a seat. I seen and sat with her.
"Hi, my names Serena"
"Shawnise" she shook my hand.
"You new here?"
"Yea my first day was yesterday"
"How was it?"
"Shitty tbh"
"Wanna skip?"
"Don't gotta ask me twice"
We got off the bus and didn't walk into the school, we walked off school grounds. We walked next door to the mall. I had some cash on me so I payed for some shoes. I got retro 12s and an outfit.
"Oh so you got that shmoney !" She yelled.
"Shhh" I laughed "just a lul" I smirked side eyeing her.
We both laughed
"Are you tryin to smoke?"
"Smoke what ?, I don't smoke"
"It doesn't hurt to try, cmon"
"Okay, I guess .. how much ?"
"20$"
She then hit up her plug and asked for twenty. She went out to his car and came back in ten minutes.
"I'm back" she waved her hand telling me to follow her. She lit the blunt in the back of the mall. I puffed it two times and passed it tryin not to cough.
ABOUT 20 MINUTES LATER
I was fried as ever for the first time. I laughed at everything. I was walking down the street and we seen somebody getting jumped by two people.
"STOP" I yelled standing in front of the man. He tried to push me aside when I hit him with a left hook.
They both ran away leaving me and and boy who had been getting beat up.
I helped him up and set him
On the dumpster. He was just staring at me the whole time. "Serena what happened??" Shawnise had asked walk-in up.
"Talk later can you go get me some peroxide?" I handed her a ten. Then she ran away.
"Who are you ?" He asked
"Serena" I said lowkey with my head down. I turned around to get a stone. "And you?" And he was gone .
