My Love

There's this woman I met on the net
Hiding behind a pathetic facade.
In her I found a good ole friend
And who would've thought?
A lover to say atleast.

She's a hundred miles away
With only a name and without a face
I, who foolishly wants to be in love
Threw all logic out of the window
And made her say the sweetest yes

We were naive and young and wild
Charging through the face of love
Indeed t'was a foolish move
For we end up as lovers
We were apart and together

I wish I realize this sooner:
Loving isn't a luxury for those who
cannot love their very self.
Loving isn't a remedy
Nor an alternative.

3 months I befriended her
Half a year I made her mine
Two years later I broke her heart.
Seven months I long for her
Eternity will she have my heart.

My love, you're worth it.
I love you and I am sorry
For I am not in the proper condition
To give what is due to you.
Goodbye.
