In a Heartbeat

Kai's pov

In the morning

I walked to the school and got in to the court yard, I turned around until I saw a really handsome guy named Akira Hayama.  I blushed as he walked up with his book that he's reading and smelling the cinnamon stick. I ran off and stop for a second before hiding in the bushes, next to me, as he walked by.  I thought that I climbed up to the tree to get a view of him, as I looked at him, I love his white hair  and his tanned skin, and his face is beautiful and charming, his eyes are like emerald stone, I think I fell in love with Akira Hayama, I couldn't help myself.  The biggest mistake is that I was staring at him as I was distracted, as I lifted and hit my head which makes Hayama attention as he heard a thump sound, I quickly hid the tree trunk my grip  and my heart is beating so fast, I tried to calm my heart but nothing work. 

So I grabbed my heart to cover on my chest, as he walked away, until then my heart came out of my chest like literally.  The little heart of me.
My heart looked at me, pointing at Hayama and panting and smiling with excitement, then it pulled my index finger to go to him but I refused to as I tried to keep my heart away from him.  As my heart pulled me and I pull myself away in a second, until it let go of grip ond flies off to Hayama. 

Akira Hayama's pov

I walked down the path, as I was reading some recipe and sniffing some cinnamon before I eat it, until I heard a thump noise, from a tree. I wonder what made that noise that leaves me mysterious sound, I shrugged as I continue walking to school

Kai's pov
My heart is flying out to Hayama replacing the cinnamon stick and placing itself on Hayama's hand I started to panic as I managed to climbed down the tree and ran off behind him without him noticing me as I tried to catch my heart as it was about to kiss him as Hayama thought was about to eat the cinnamon but instead I grabbed his hand.  His hand is warm but I pulled away quickly and smile at him nervously, until my heart appeared on his book, I chase after my heart as I ran around him until I caught it, then I realized that I end in this awkward position I just hugged Hayama, very close to our face that almost touched our lips.  I see a guy behind walk over to school, I jumped in the trash to hide, while Hayama walked away.

Akira Hayama's pov

I was about to eat my cinnamon stick, until someone grabbed my hand, and it was, uh, what's his name? I think its Kai from Chinese cuisine class.  He looks cute and to think about him, he's not very social and doesn't have friends. I looked at his hand that he's holding mine and looked at him shock. He pulled his hand away and smile at me nervously, and then he start running around me.  I don't know whats gotten into him, then he clasps his hand around my neck, hugging me so close, that almost touched our lips.  He looked behind and jumped in the trash can, as I waved back of one of my classmates.  Then I looked back at the trash can where Kai is in, until the bell ring, I walked away to get to class.

Kai's pov

When the bell rang, I came out, when the heart grabbed my finger and pulled me out and drag me to my crush, I steer to the right but my heart went back towards my crush, I shut my eyes to embrace our impact.  Before that, I tripped on the pebble and fly over my crush's head while my heart nearly touched his white hair.  I fell on the hard concrete ground, and look at the door, Hayama went in while my heart went after him before the door close, I started to panic on what's gonna happen in there.  I opened the door and went in, I gasped to see Hayama was on the floor my heart getting cuddles on his cheek, I quickly grabbed my heart when it dodges until I caught its hand and my heart pulled and grabbed Hayama's finger.  He looked at me with his eyebrow raising, asking about the heart of mine.  Then everyone in school looked at us as like they're confused or disgusted, I looked at them in fear with my eyes widened then I looked back at my crush.  He looked around and look back at me, definitely as he looked embarrassed, I pulled my heart harder until it break and walked out of door with my half broken heart, feeling miserable of my life as I left my crush with the other half heart.

Akira Hayama's pov

I continue walking, then I felt something nearly touched the top of my hair but I just ignore it whatever it was.  Finally I went inside the school until I was tackled by a, floating heart?  It started to cuddle me against my cheek, I heard and saw Kai in panicking expression as he grabbed the little heart's hand, then it grabbed my finger.  I heard everyone whispered and looked at us with disgusted face, I looked back at Kai, I don't know what should i do until he pulled back harder, cause the little heart breaks and he ran off the door with his half heart, while I have his half.  I feel bad for him, I should go to him to fix this.

Kai's pov

I sat behind the same tree, hiding as I looked at my half, which takes me more sad, leaving myself a heart broken. I feeling so embarrassed that all of the people in school, including my crush, already know my secret relationship, I never felt so misery in my life, that I expose myself in front of my crush.  I felt tears went down on my cheek as I lifted my head up until I heard footstep and saw Hayama.  What is he doing here, I looked away and wipe my tears with my shoulder, as to not to let him see me cry, he walked around the bush to kneel down as he was grabbing my hand but I pulled away as I was scared.  He looked at me smile, as he opened my hands and the other half with him and put both of our hands together, my heart came back to life.  The little heart floating next to me, and then Hayama scooted next to me as he looked into each other as we smiled.  Our neon heart turned identical together.

Akira Hayama's pov

I walk outside to find Kai, until I saw him sitting behind the tree as he looked sad as he looked at his half, then he notice that I was here and turned away as he wiped his tears with his shoulder to hide it.  How cute. I came around the bushes and walked towards him, I tried to help him when I was about to grab his hand but he pulled it away.  Once he looked at me, open his hands.  I placed his half on his hand and squeezed his both hands together to make connection, not to mention, his hand is soft and warm.  It floated next to him as I was sitting next to him against the tree, cause my heart glow bright in neon, and my heart tells me that I like him as well, as we smile each other that we have a connection, just for both of us.  Nothing can stop between our relationship, forget what other people say about us.
