CHAPTER 1: New Changes

The sound of my alarm ringing was all I needed to jerk my eyes open. I turned off the alarm and sat up as I got up to call Ace.....'wait a second why is it 7:00AM?! I don't have school until 9:30AM-oh right Ace and I moved schools on the weekend. Well, this means I have to make a good impression...' I trudged over to my closet and took out my school uniform, I got dressed and before I styled my hair, I decided to give Ace a ring. It ran three times before he picked up "Hey Cassie, you awake yet? Sorry I forgot to call you, I woke up a little late..." "Well, that's your fault, you were up until 11:30PM playing Fortnite! I've already got changed, hurry your ass up!" "Ok ok... It took us a while to get to school, as we were walking there. As we edged closer and closer to our classroom, my legs started to tremble. I've never been good at being in the spotlight. Ace seemed to notice something was up, he wrapped his arm around me and said softly "Hey, it'll be ok...I'm here." I smiled he's my best friend, he means so much to me. We entered the room, all eyes on us "Students, these are the new kids." The teacher turned to us 'Ms. Zeth' I read off the tag on her chest. "Please introduce yourselves." Ace introduced himself first, then it was my turn... I inhaled "Hi everyone, I'm Cassie I hope we could be friends!" "Alright, Ace and Cassie go and take a seat." Class went by quickly, as I walked towards my locker a girl wearing layers of makeup and a short skirt walked up to me. "Hey" "Hi?" "I'm Chloe, wanna be friends?" Judging from her look and her vibe, I knew she wasn't a good one. "Uhm, sorry but no thanks." "Ugh! You are gonna regret that!" And with that, she sashayed off. "Weird..." I thought.
