I Can't, But Thank You...

Colby's POV
"Even you..." She says. "Me?" I ask, why? "It's nothing against you, it's just everyone and everything I've ever known as just hurt me.". "Im sorry." I say. I look down and my phone is being blown up by the guys asking where I am, what's happening, can they come in etc. I go to where you can dial a number and hand y/n my phone. "What?" She asks. "Call your parents, they are probably really worried about you" I say. She shuts the phone off and hands it back to me. "I can't but thank you...". I take my phone back and wonder why she doesn't want to call her parents. My phone keeps blowing up and then I ask her "I have friends out in the waiting room that have been waiting for hours... can they come in?". She looks at me then at her hands and nods. I get stand up and start to walk away but she grabs my hand and says "Please don't tell them anything about me...". I nod to her and walk out.

Elton's POV
We've been waiting here for hours and Colby won't answer anyone. Amanda is kinda getting on my nerves. I don't know what her problem is but she's being rude to everyone, even me. "Sam are you as hungry as I am?" Corey ask. "Yeah, I'm starving but we gotta stay here." A few moments later Colby walks out, and he looks exhausted. I stand up and walk over to him and he looks down at his feet. "How is she?" I ask. "She's doing... okay..." he says. Sam walks over and asks what's wrong. "I know to much" he says, "but you can all come back now.". He turns around to lead us back but I put my hand in his shoulder and ask "What's her name? What happened like do they have any info on her?". He turns around and looks towards me then to the hallways and says "nothing.". At this point we are all surrounding Colby so he probably is overwhelmed. We follow him back and we get to her room before he opens the door he says "Wait stay here" and opens the door and shuts it behind him. I see him taking to her and motions toward the door. She looks scared and nervous but she nods and Colby lets us in. We all file in and Colby shuts the door. He then introduces us to her. "So this is Elton, Sam, Corey, Heath, and Amanda" he says. We all greet her and she smiles at us. She looks horrible but not in a mean way. Everything visible to us is covered in cuts and scratches, her lips busted and she has a black eye. After it being quite for awhile I finally ask "Whats your name?". She raises her arm and starts doing something with her hand. "Y/n, your name is y/n." Heath says. Everyone looks at him confused but then I remember Heath knows sign language. "It's sign language" he says. We then hear a knock on the door and the doctor comes in and has a concerned expression on his face...
