Chapter 2

Asher's POV

I woke up feeling someone kissing my torso and a hammering headache. I wondered what happened yesterday when it all rushed in.

As usual I had gone out to a party with my long time best friend Shane and his flavour of the month Riley. After a couple of drinks they were getting on with it and kissing each other sloppily when I decided to go to the bar stool and sit deciding to have some more drink before calling it a night.

I poured myself my usual, scotch on rocks when I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turned to see a girl from my school mostly from the cheerleading team with a cake of makeup on her face and in a black striped dress which had her whole body on show, A whore.
I wondered.

"Hey you look a bit lonely and bored wanna get out of here." She slurred. Surely a whore.

"Why not." I said, smirking.

I couldn't even remember her name, it was Otrivia I guess.

I opened my eyes to see she was looking at me in a creepy way.

"Wanna go for round no. I don't know 6th or 7th." She said in her squeaky voice, which added on to my headache.

"I guess not Otrivia." I replied groaning.

"It's Olivia a**hole." She squeaked. Then got of the bed and wore her not so dress, dress before storming out of the door and house with the banging of the doors. Thank goodness my parents had gone for their business trip or I would have a lot to explain. My phone chimed from my bed side table indicating of a message.

I took my phone to see it was from none other than Shane.

Dude wanna go out for a coffee for our hangover.

Looks like I wasn't the only one with a hangover.

I saw the time which was 10:00 am so I typed in a quick reply and decided to freshen up.

Rebekah's in 15.

After getting dressed up in a jeans and t-shirt with a leather jacket. I took my motorcycle keys, wallet and phone and headed out of my house which was more like a mansion, towards Rebekah's Café.

Rebekah's Café was a block away from my as well as Shane's house. As Shane, Caroline, Amelia and I lived on the same street, Ricco street. Ricco was the Italian for Rich. And as the name ensured only the rich resided in the street.
My father and Caroline's father are Business man, Shane's father is an Actor and his mother is Fashion designer.
Amelia's father is the Governor of the state.
See all rich.
And all of them are best friends. So now even their kids are best friend.

I got off my motorcycle and as expected Shane was sitting at our usual booth scrolling through the phone.

"Hey, man how was last night?" I asked.

"A blur which explains my hangover and you decide when I say I got up with two girls at my side, Riley and someone. I can't remember her name."

"You lucky bastard. Well I got up with one and called her Otrivia when her name is Oki...Oli..."

"Olivia?" He asked to get me out of the name mess.

"Right Olivia. You know her?"

"Yeah. That b*tch was Ryan's girl last year and she cheated on him, don't you remember." He explained.

"Thought I had seen her somewhere."

Ryan is Shane's elder brother he has finished graduation and now will be following the legacy to the film industry.

"What can I get you naughty kids." Rebekah said pulling our cheeks.

"Black coffee." Both of us said at the same time.

"You both went drinking again." she said giving us disapproving glares.

"Sorry Momma Rebo." We both said in unison again.

"Awww... my sweet boys. It's good to enjoy but not so much." She said and walked away to get our coffee.

Rebekah was in her late forties, and has known us from the time we were babies as she use to take care of us when our parents were busy. So we all call her Momma Rebo. Her husband Papa John is a businessman and they live on the same street. Her son Kevin is like our big brother and whenever there's a problem he is there to save us but then after that he kicks our a**. She opened this Café when Kevin went to London for business major.

"Dude, when are Mia and Carl coming back." Shane asked.

"Today at 5:30 pm."

"Goodness I miss them so much."

"Me too, bro."

Amelia and Caroline have gone to London for the vacation. They said they wanted to have a fun time but as much as we know something is there that the both of them are hiding from us. They have never gone anywhere without Shane and I.

"Hey did u find out anything about why the girls left so abruptly?"

"No man, you know how Caroline is, when she wants to hide anything... it stays hidden forever. I asked my sources no one came up with anything it's like some part of their memories are vanished. Knowing Caroline, I'm sure she must have threatened everyone to zip their mouth. We can only find out from Mia or her. Which is impossible." Explained Shane.

"Right, but we have to find out what is troubling the girls. Both of them were so sad before they left."

"I know right."

"Here's your coffee. Your special hangover shots." Said Mumma Rebo, placing 3 cups of coffee on the booth and sitting next to me.

"You two talking about Carl and Mia?" She asked.

"Yes, they seemed sad when they left and we still don't know what happened." I replied.

"I know child even I saw how sad they were, but don't worry they'll tell you what happened at the right time." She said with a concerned look on her face.

"Don't worry you two, be happy and plan something good for their arrival. They are coming today at 5:30 if you both remember." She said with a smile which didn't quite reach her eyes. Looks like we are not the only ones worrying about what happened.

"Was I the only one who didn't remember." Shane whined.

Which made Momma Rebo and me laugh.

We drank our coffee, making small talks and asking Momma Rebo about Kevin.

The time passed by in a blur and it was already time for lunch. We hugged Momma Rebo and bid our goodbyes as we made our way to my house to plan our small get together which involved our families, Momma Rebo and Papa John.
