the wind dances around you as you stand on your father's grave, roses in your shaky hands. the clouds are painted gray and the sun's light is dull. dried tears stain your cheeks, but what stained even more was the pain in your heart.

"Daddy, why did you leave too soon?" you manage to spit out those words from your tight throat. No response. "You couldn't have waited just a little bit?" anger echoes behind your voice. Taehyung, your best friend, stands a few feet behind you. "Y/N," he calls. Your ears are on mute. He takes a few steps forward. "Y/N? Please don't be angry over your father's unexpected passing. Everything happens for a reason," he is about to tell more until you spin around, facing him. You suddenly are unmuted from silence. "Then what is the reason?!" Taehyung's eyes widen. "Y/N—" tears drizzle down your cheek and your grip tightens. "Everything happens for a reason, right?! What's the reason for this, huh?!" the anger you have bounces off the air, leaving Taehyung shocked. "Y/N, I don't know! I really don't, but you need to rest," he steps closer. "Maybe we should go home and.." you drop the flowers onto the grave and sit in front of the tombstone. "I'm not going anywhere," you huff. Taehyung frowns. "It's always about you, right?" he mumbles. "What?" you sniff. "It's about you. Everything thing is. Have you ever thought about others?" Taehyung looks down at you, waiting for you to respond. You bite your lip. It is always about you. Everything had been.

"I'm going. You can stay. I'm sorry for your loss, Y/N," his last words are said before he disappears.. leaving you alone.

It started to rain, so you headed home all blue. It's been awhile since you've contacted Jimin. The last time you even saw him was a couple of months ago in the parking lot. You sit on the couch, thinking about him. Thinking about what Taehyung said. 'It's always about you'.
That thought keeps pinching you harder and harder as you think about it more. You sigh. This week has been too stressful for you and you really do need to rest. You slide off your shoes and lie on the couch, soon falling asleep.

You wake up to thunder clashing and rumbling. You blink out the blurriness in your eyes before sitting up, looking around your room. "What time is it?" you asks, standing up and heading to the kitchen. The clock on the stove reads two twenty-seven in the morning. "Geez. I slept for that long? Taehyung was right," you grab a bottle of water and take a long sip it. The thunder clashes loudly making you squeal. You hate the thunder. When you and Jimin were a couple, times were amazing when thunder came in. He'd cuddle and kiss your forehead to make you feel better. You'd always end up sleeping peacefully in his lap. But now, those times are gone. Sleepless nights are what now revolve around you when storms like these come around.

You grab your phone and call Taehyung, hoping he is awake. "Come on, pick up the phone," you mumble.

"Hello, this is Tae! Please leave a messa—" you hang up the phone. "Are you kidding me? I can't stand the thunder and lighting," you close your phone and walk to your room, flopping onto your white patterned bed sheets.
The thunder only gets louder and scarier, leaving you shivering under the sheets. The grip on your pillow is tight and you're body can't help but produce fear. Then, your phone buzzes. "I-Is that Taehyung?" you mumble to yourself .. slowly letting go of your pillow and now grabbing your phone. You flip it over and expect it to be Taehyung, but it wasn't. Your heart sinks into your stomach. "Jimin..?" you question yourself. Why is he calling you? You pick up the phone.  "Hello..?"...
