I was walking home after I finished talking to my boyfriend at school one day and saw these four girls walking past me it was like I'd seen them before, but I don't know where.
"Hey your Fiona right your new at the school?" One of the girls asked me.

"Yeah your um ...... sorry I don't know your names, " I said.
"It's okay I'm Olivia this is Rose, Callie, and Ella," Olivia answered.

"We were just going to my mom's café for some smoothies do you want to come with us?" Rose asked.
"Um sure just let me call my dad and let him know that I'll be late,"I said getting out my phone.
As we walked I noticed in the corner of my eye this really nice looking necklace in the window of a store.
"Guys look at this necklace it's so beautiful, "I said starring at the beautiful jewel.
When I walked in this women greeted us with a really nice smile. She was short with short red hair. She seemed sweet.
"Hello how may I help you girls?" The woman with short red hair asked.
"Yeah I wanted to know the price for the necklace in the window," I said.
"Oh you mean the Heart of Kandrakar you know, legend says that years ago this amulet united a great force of good called the Guardians.
"The Guardians, lamest superhero group name ever," Callie said folding her arms.
"Shh let her finish the story, keep going please Ms ........?" I hushed.
"My name is Will and I am a former guardian of Quintessence and the keeper of the Heart of Kandrakar, back when I was still a guardian I had four friends Irma, Terranne, Cornelia, and Hay Lin," Will explained.
"But why are you telling us this?"I said.
"Because I believe that the five of you are the new Guardians, Fiona you are the keeper of the Heart of Kandrakar and controls the element quintessence, Olivia you are master of the element water,Rose you are master of the element fire, Callie you are master of the element earth ,Ella you are the master of the element air , together you are The Guardians of the multiverse," Will said. "You should have started having strange things happening around you by now."
We all looked at her completely encapsulated with her story. Everyone except for Callie who seemed to be wishing Will'd stop talking but every now and then she'd look from the corner of her eye as if some part of the story had her attention.
"How is she supposed to transform us into these so called guardians, "Callie said.
"Fiona as keeper of the Heart you have the ability to transform all five of you into guardians, just close your eyes and connect with the Heart become one with it, "Will explained while placing the heart of Kandrakar around my neck. "I know you are able to feel its pull."
I close my eyes and feel for the Heart. I feel it's pull and energy and reach out to grasp it. I clasp my hands around the crystal and call out what feels right.
"GUARDIANS UNITE!"
After those words left my lips the heart began to shine. I could feel myself lifting off the ground and five little symbols inside orbs connecting with each of us at our hearts. We place our hands over our hearts and our elements surrounded us until we were in the fetal position floating around each other in orbs made of our elements.
"QUINTESSENCE!" I say finishing my transformation.
When I looked at myself I was wearing a cropped teal long sleeve v-neack, a pink trailing skirt, and a pair of striped dark green and light green leggings.
"So... this what a guardian wears," I say. "Cute."
