Three Years Ago
Kim Taehyung was swinging his legs off the swing, humming a simple melody. A firm grip on his shoulders made him throw himself forward, trying to escape whoever had grabbed him. The boy didn't dare to look back being in a complete state of panic which caused him to fall over his feet. Whoever had grabbed let out an amused chuckle. Taehyung froze as he couldn't help but look back to reveal a familiar face, that being Kim Namjoon's. With a defeated pant he regained the strength in his legs and stood up to look at the taller.
"We're not in a horror movie Tae" Namjoon said through a smile. The younger blushed a shade of pink as the hands of the elder ran through his brunette hair. "You scared me" Taehyung said through pouted lips as he crossed his arms, a smile slowly began to creep along his face. Namjoon's amused face now matching Taehyung's as both boys broke out into laughter.
A scream from Inside the younger's house startled them, muting their laughter. Taehyung darted into his house, Namjoon following closely. A gasp left Taehyung's mouth as he fell to his knees beside a women who was laid on the floor with blood pouring from her stomach. Namjoon stumbled back when he arrived to the bloody scene. "M-Mom?" the younger muttered, his hands now covered in the woman's blood, a crash in the hall made Namjoon spin around in his spot, a man was standing there, holding a half smashed bottle, drenched in blood. The man ran towards the back door, Namjoon wanted to run after him however his body didn't let him move. A cry left Taehyung's mouth, "She's not breathing!" his breath sped up, as Namjoon shakily grabbed his phone from his pocket and called for an ambulance.
Once the paramedics had arrived the police had also been brought as expected, the woman was rushed into the Ambulance on the stretcher as both boys were questioned. The officer on the scene listened to both of the men's stories. The unexpected words left the constables mouth. "Kim Namjoon you're under arrest for attempted murder of Miss Kim Jihyun"
