As the twins ran into her arms they shouted:
"Mooooooooooommmmyyyyy!"
"Rain, Ark!"
They jumped into her arms and she twirled them around.
" I have a special surprise for you. How would you like to meet your daddy?" She asked
"Yeah yeah yeah! Yayayayayyayay!" They said as they excitedly jumped at the thought.
"Well,... he's here okay?" She continued hoping to calm the kids before meeting their father.
"Yayyayayay!" They continued
Jim watched in awe at how well she calmed the children. He internally panicked knowing he wouldn't be a good father. Maybe I can slip out without them knowing? He thought as Claire had finally calmed the 4 year-olds. Nah! Too late! Oops!
"Jiiiiiiimmmmmmm?" Claire asked waving her hand frantically in his face.
"Oh right, yes here!" He quickly managed to say.
"The twins are calm and ready to meet you"
"Oh yeah right sorry" he apologised peering over her shoulder to look at the calm children sitting on Toby's lap playing with his stubby fingers. (No offence Toby😂)
"Rain? Ark? Can you come here please?" She questioned as the twins silently slipped off of Toby's knees.
