"No! Please no! Stay with me!" Hermione sobbed. She was holding Draco close, while on the ground. They were in the middle of The Wizard War and Draco had been injured.
It was very close to his heart and he had a 90% chance of living.
Hermione was sobbing loudly as she watched her true love dying. She wouldn't believe it. Not for a second. So she waited. She couldn't think of anything to save him. At all.
"Hermione...." He croaked. "Yes love?" She caressed his face softly. "I love you....." A tear fell from his eye. "I love you too. " Hermione smiled half-heartedly.
"Can you tell me a poem?" His voice was slowly fading. She nodded slowly. "Sure. " she thought for a few short moments.

A gentle brush of his fingers,
Sending shivers down my spine.
In the love I see in his eyes,
Is a love that equals mine.
He greets me with a smile,
And leaves me with a kiss.

She finished the poem smiling. Tears were still falling freely as Draco's eyes were drooping. "Never forget me......"
His last words. Those were his last words. His heart stopped. His eyes closed. His spirit left, and Hermione sobbed for a long time.
"I love you Draco. " she whispered.
1 WEEK LATER
Hermione always had dreams with Draco in it. She was always sad and almost never smiled. Her best friends were always there for her and she liked that. But they could never cheer her up.
In one of her dreams Draco had told her that Ron was good for her. She refused many times but finally agreed. When she woke up she was smiling. She ran downstairs from her bedroom to see Ron sitting on the couch, she ran to Ron and jumped on him, hugging him and giving him a kiss.
Ron was super surprised but kissed back. From that day on Hermione was always happy. But she never forgot her first true love.
