Saerom was once again spacing out and it wasn't even past 5th period yet. Whenever she did though, her eyes would lead her into staring out the small window on the door of their class, in an attempt to peek through it to see what's going on in the other.
She would be lying if she said didn't miss Seungmin, bur of course he had Hyejin so it was none of her business to go ahead and stop him from having his happily ever after.
Just then a small, crumpled piece of paper fell right next to her leg, making her pick it up and open it to see none other than Jisung's handwriting,
'you okay?' - jisung, felix and hyunjin
It said, making Saerom smile a little before nodding her head into all three directions.
"Okay class dismissed." the teacher says lazily before zombie-walking out the class. He was their math teacher, probably the most relatable teacher in the whole school.
Hyunjin, Saerom, Felix and Jisung all proceeded to the canteen for lunch. At some point in the walk Saerom asked whether they should get Seungmin, but Jisung said he had something to attend to.
They sat around a random lunch table and did what they would always do, eat and try not to strangle each other. Soon they were joined by Rachel and Rina, but still no sign of Seungmin anywhere.
After about 5 minutes or so of 'Hyunjin likes Rina and Rina likes Hyunjin, they should date' literally in front of the two, Seungmin walks over to the table as well with a huge smile upon his face.
"Why so happy?" Felix asks with a raised eyebrow. Seungmin simple holds a finger up at him, probably meaning 'you'll see' or something.
Just then someone followed after Seungmin and sat next to Saerom, making her confused and at the same time worried for her own sanity. "Am I missing out on something here?" Rina asks, dropping her spoon onto her plate.
"Oh, I guess you could say we're dating." Seungmin smiles warmly and the whole table turns silent. Hyunjin's mouth ajar, Felix's water sprawled across his uniform, Rachel and Rina practically petrified and Saerom just being Saerom decided to cling onto the closed person and that happened to be Jisung.
"Congratulations Seungmin, we hope you two last long together." Hyunjin finally says in an attempt to break the awkwardness surrounding the table.
"But when? and how?" Saerom asks, turning towards Hyejin, mainly wanting an explaination from the girl who had been annoying her for several years. Hyejin gives her a calm smile, "You see, minnie and I met when he first moved into here and we've been hanging out in secret since then."
Felix fake pukes at the nickname 'minnie' which causes Rachel to do the same but only because Hyejin is literally a piece of shit without Seungmin.
After what felt like hours of non-stop cutesy couple stuff from Seungmin and Hyejin, the clock strikes 12:05, 10 minutes before lunch break ends, and they all decide to leave the two alone there.
Once out of everyone else's sight, Hyunjin rushes over to Saerom, "You're jealous of Hyejin aren't you?"
