Kristi started to like Charles after a week or two. She didn't want this to get in the way of school though. One day, Kristi saw another boy staring at her.
"Who is he?" she thought. At the end of the class she accidentally bumped into him.
"Sorry it's my fault!" he said.
"No that was on me."
"The names Jake." he smiled.
"Kristi." She answered.
Kristi was late to lunch; as always. She sat in the corner eating her turkey sandwich. Both Charles and Jake sat by her.
"Hi." They said.
"Oh hi there." Kristi mumbled.
"How is your day so far?" asked Jake
"Good, I guess!" she answered
When the day finally ended, Kristi just wanted to go home. She hopped on the bus. The bus road up Grove Street, stopped and waited for Kristi to get off.
She ran right to her favorite spot. Kristi just wanted alone time. Of course she didn't have much of it. Charles, who happened to live next door, stopped by.
"Sup?" he asked
"Nothing much, I guess."
"Kristi, can I ask you something?"
"Sure anything."
"Will you go on a date with me?"
"I'd love to!"
