TRIGGER WARNING
The rain is falling hard and the tears are falling from his eyes like a river flows. The blade runs across his skin leaving behind a red and painful trail like his past. The memories hurting more than any physical pain could and his heart so broken it's unable to be fixed because a big piece is missing.
The full bottle of pills sitting on the counter waiting for him, they are calling his name. His vision foggy from the tears like a windshield of a car with the heat on, in the freezing cold. He looks down at the marks and scars on his wrist, blood dripping down his arm into a puddle on the floor. His mind is hazy like the fog of a cold morning, his eyes trail to the bottle on the counter, still screaming his name, looking so appetizing to him right now.
'No one cares', 'why do you think he left you?' 'because you weren't enough', 'you were weak and couldn't handle your own problems'. 'You went running to him every time something went wrong'. 'You needed him' 'but he didn't need you', 'no one needs you'.' you are fat and ugly' 'doing this will help everyone', 'help them get away from you', 'from your messed up mind', 'no one loves you'. The voices in his head screamed and tormented him. Pulling him closer to the darkness. The darkness was a calm place, with no worries, no pain. The pills would take him there.
He hears a banging on the door and screaming from the other side. It was him; the person who hurt him and brought him into this state. The piece of his heart that's missing. 1 pill down, the screaming gets louder. "Please don't" he sobs from behind the locked door. He takes hand fulls of pills, shoving them into his mouth. They slide down his throat like water down a drain. The world slowly floating away. The screaming, loud banging on the door, the worries, the pain and hurt slowly fade away. Hearing one last loud bang. Everything's black, he's in the calm darkness with no worries and no pain, no one to hurt him.
But the boy behind the door is still crying, still feeling all the pain. 'Cause this was all his fault, he messed up. Now he may have lost the person he loves the most. His banging on the door does not stop, his constant screaming for his soulmate doesn't stop. The door bursts open broken bits of wood fly everywhere. He looks at the ground, seeing his soulmate on the floor surrounded by blood. Cuts covering his arms and an empty bottle of pills.
He screams in pain, his heart breaking into pieces. Now a big piece of his heart is missing. He picks up the blade his loved one used moments ago to end his life. Putting it up to his wrist. Sliding it down his arm leaving behind the same red trail as his loved one, but it didn't hurt as much as the ache in his chest. He then puts the blade up to his other arm cutting deep. Quickly searching for more pills, finding a full bottle under the sink. Downing all of them and lying down holding the love of his life in his arms as he drifts off into the calm and safe darkness.
Seeing Jack sitting there with a smile on his face. "Zach, I was waiting for you," He says standing up and walking over to him, grabbing him and hugging him. Zach crying even more now. "Hey, it's ok we are together now" whispers Jack. "Forever," sobs Zach. "and Always" continues Jack with a smile. They both walk into the light together, to finally be happy together... 'Forever and Always'.
