Between Two Worlds

Chapter 1

"Would you look at her? She looks cool" a group of spirits gushed over  Evie's magic/shooting skills.  Evie was the best mage/marksman ever trained in the mystical palace despite being a female. She was admired by everyone because of her strong leadership and of course her kindness. But she has this habit of being mean at anyone she doesn't knows,  so she tend to shoo the other spirits away when they beg her to train them by showing her fist at them. Of course they're scared but they still wouldn't give up trying to persuade her to train them.

"Evie! " Chase called from afar.
"What do you want chase?" Evie raise her eyebrow. Chase waves his hand ushering Evie to come. Evie rolled her eyes and went towards Chase. "What?" Evie crossed her arms. Chase sigh. "Can you not look so serious..its scaring me.." Evie flash a smile at Chase. "Much better~ right tyrone?" Chase nudges Tyrone , who was eating. Tyrone look up and nods. "So? Are you gonna tell me? " Evie was excited as well as nervous of what Chase is gonna tell her. "Relax Evie... Its still early" Tyrone said. "Yeah relax Evie.. So there's a spirit.. He really liked you so i agree that i would set up a date for him with you. You're okay with that right?" Chase said grinning from ear to ear. "Sure.. Wait what?!" Evie yelled and everyone turned to her ,  curious. "This better be a joke Chase. How could you do this to me." Evie panic and starts to mumble to herself as she haven't been on a date before. Then a stream of laughter comes out of Chase. "What are you laughing at?" Evie said ,  annoyed. "It was just a joke Evie... You should have seen your face just now hahahaha." Chase couldn't stop his laughter. Tyrone who was listening also starts laughing. "Fudge you Chase,  You had me worried for nothing." Evie hits chase. "Aw it hurts!" Chase wince in pain. "Serves you right." Evie laughs. Just when Evie was going to continue her training. The three of them turn back into their dog spirit. "Fudge you Chase. Look at what you've done. I could have practice a little more if it wasn't for your stupid jokes.Urgh.." Evie say. "Sorry Evie.. I was just bored.." Chase apologize. Evie sighs. "Its fine.. Well now we're back to our dog form.. Let's hang out!" Evie says just as they were about to leave the training area .Suddenly,  they were stopped by the King's messenger.
"General Evie,  Tyrone and Chase.. The king would like to see you." He says. The three of them then follow the king's messenger to the king's place.

Meanwhile in earth,  

"Young master Lucas,  you need to get up now.. You're late for work.." a servant wakes Lucas. "Just five more minutes.." Lucas mumbles. "I'm sorry young master,  the master has ordered me to wake you up now."  the servant say. "Urgh that old geezer." Lucas wakes up. "Here's your sparkling water young master.." the servant hand Lucas a bottle. Lucas grabs the bottle and ask the servant to go out. He opens the bottle cap and drinks. "Just another boring working day..." Lucas thinks to himself.

At the Town

"Haha take that! " a group of kids throwing rocks at an injured dog. "Hey!" a guy stands in front of the kids. "Stop it or I'll break your hands.." He say in a terrifying way. "Mama!!" The kids screams and run away , leaving the dog alone. The guy walks to the dog and crouch down. "I'm sorry this has happened to you.." the guy strokes the dog head gently. "Now lets get you to the vet.." He carries the injured dog and went to the vet. 

"Ah Luke , helped another dog again?" The vet smiles. "I can't help it,  i couldn't let the kids hurt this innocent dog." Luke lays the dog on the table. "You're a great guy Luke,  the world need this type of people.." The vet says.

At a convenience store

"Rina! Are you done counting the money?" Chloe yell from the storage room. "Yeah I'm done! " Rina puts the cash back into the cashier. She looks at her watch. "Shoot, I'm almost late." She quickly went to the staff room to change her clothes and grab her belongings. As she went out,  Chloe stop her. Then, Chloe handed her a 50 dollar note. "Chloe.. Why are you giving me this.." Rina asks. "I just wanted to let you have a fun date with Jason. Take it.." Chloe says. "Its finee.. I have money too.." Rina push Chloe's hand. "If you don't take it then i'll be mad at you." Chloe says. "Fine.. I'll take it.." Rina takes the 50 dollar note and put it inside her wallet. "Thank you Chloe.. Im grateful to have a friend like you.." Rina hugs Chloe. "Me too.. Now get going or you'll be late~ Have a fun date~" Chloe then sends Rina off. Luckily,  the cafe wasn't far away. As she arrived at the cafe,  her phone rings. It was Jason calling. She picks up the call. "Hey Jason I'm here~" Rina says. "Sorry Rina.. Something came up.. I have to get back to work.. Can we meet up another day?" Jason says. Rina felt a little disappointed. "Sure~ I have something to do too.." Rina says , forcing a smile on her face. "Okay,  im glad you understand.. I love you." Jason says. " I love you too.." Rina says and ended the call."Hmmm.. I guess i treat Chloe some cake~" Rina went into the cafe and brought some cake. She then walk back to the convenience store.

Back at the Mystical palace

"Another mission again from the king... " Chase lets down a huge sigh. "It must be an important mission since he called the 3 of us rather than just one of us." Evie says. Tyrone nods his head,  agree with what Evie said. Soon , they reached the King's place.
