The two friends went to the backwoods behind the grocery store during their break. They light their cigarettes and gossip about coworkers. 10 minutes go by and one of them notices a trail of red liquid on the ground. Curious, she starts to follow.
"Ashley, don't go any farther into the woods. We don't know what's back there."
"Oh my gosh, It's completely fine." Ashley exclaimed.
She continued walking and Sarah followed, afraid to be alone.
20 minutes go by and the trail of red became thicker and thicker. The farther they went, the more Sarah was shaking.
"That could be anything, right?" Sarah said.
"Shut up and come on." Ashley was fixated on the trail.
They came upon a house. An old house with police tape wrapped around the porch. A girl laid face down on the doorstep with the red liquid coming from her neck. A police officer stood over examining the girl. Sarah and Ashley studied the situation for a moment before the cop realized they were there.
"You guys have to clear out of here."
Ashley was curious.
"Can you tell us anything?"
The police officer looked back at the body and sighed.
"Her name was Amy and she lived here with her mother. Body was found on the porch and a trail of blood leads up to the house, but the mother is nowhere in sight. She's most likely the one that killed her."
The girls looked at each other and then back at him. He turned to his car and got in.
"Go home. This isn't your place." He said as he drove off.
Once the car was out of sight, Ashley immediately started walking towards the body.
"Ashley! Get away from there!" Sarah was looking around paranoid.
"Oh my gosh, stop being such a baby." Ashley crouched down next to the body and noticed two wounds. A stab in the side of her stomach, as well as the obvious neck wound."Her neck wound is what killed her, but she must have run to the house from the forest with a stab in her stomach." Said Ashley.
Sarah knew they weren't leaving anytime soon. Ashley loved to play detective ever since they were little and she wouldn't stop until she figured it out. Ashley turned and walked into the house as Sarah reluctantly followed.
They looked around for a moment before entering the family room. An Ouija Board laid on the table.
Ashley cracked a smile.
"Ashley, no." Sarah said.
"Stop being such a baby."
Curiosity got the best of Sarah and they sat down and started playing.
"Amy, are you here?"
The triangle slowly pointed towards yes.
'Ashley, I swear this is not funny."
"It's not me, I promise."
They looked back down at the board.
"Who killed you?"
And one by one, the triangle slowly spelled out the word C-O-P.
