AN: I haven't written like this in 7 years so it's all patchy sorry. Also if you have an idea for something hit me up!

-Hey. I'm in a bar.

-Okay?

-Want to meet me? *delete* I miss you *delete*

-Tori are you okay?

-No. Can I call you?

-Of course.
The phone doesn't even ring once before Eric answers.
"I know I'm too drunk for this and I shouldn't be calling and I want to respect you and what you need and your space but I also need to listen to myself and I need you."
It's silent on the other end of the phone.
"God I'm such a shitty person I'm sorry. They are playing Famous, no matter how mad it makes me, it made me miss you and I'm so sorry. I can't take faking fine at work but not talking to you, just barely coexisting anymore. I miss you and I feel terrible." Tori moved the phone away from her mouth as she finished her non-rehearsed monologue and called to the bartender for another shot. Tori continued to mumble incoherently about how she shouldn't have called as the bartender placed the shot in front of her. A stranger came up behind her and noticed the shot before she did as well as her quite apparently inebriated state. She moved the phone away again to take the shot but brought it back to continue rambling. A muffled deep voice pours through the speaker flirting with Tori, coercing her to move away from the public and then Tori could be heard again non-cohesively protesting. Followed by a thud through the phone.
"Tori? Where are you right now?"
Eric firmly asked into the phone but no one responds.
"Victoria Isabelle Vasquez I swear you'd better respond or I'm tracking you."
Soft booms could be heard through the phone but no distinct voices. Eric wasted no time scrolling to Find my Friends and had soon learned she was at the bar closest to him. Or at least her phone was. He knew he would never have been able to run fast enough so he threw on his Heelys and glided carefully over to where Apple said they last had Tori. Thankfully it was fairly late on a Tuesday night so there weren't many people out and about within the bar. Eric walked over to the bar and found Tori's phone lying on the ground beside a barstool. He grabbed it throwing it into his pocket haphazardly and did a quick scan through the room before he spotted a flash of who he thought was Tori aggressively pulled into the male bathroom diagonal to him.
He made a mad dash trying not to knock anyone down as he ran through a group of drunk girls who were falling over onto one another more than they were dancing. He reached the bathroom fairly successfully and began quickly moving to find her. He kicked at each of the stall doors after entering while shouting for her "TOR! TORI! TORI!!" He approached the final handicap stall and heard muffled sounds coming from within. Eric mustered up all of his strength and all of his gymnastic training and kicked the door which dented tremendously. Through the crack of the door, now widened by the blow, he could see a tall man, probably three inches taller than Eric with dark hair and a chinstrap beard with his hand clasped over Tori's mouth. After seeing this Eric was filled with a second wind, pumped full of adrenaline, he attacked the door again. Stronger than the first time his kick had snapped the door lock in half. The stall door swung open leaving the stranger in shock, which gave Eric an opportune surprise attack. He punched the stranger and grabbed a borderline unconscious Tori back from him. "Jesus Tori" Eric calls over her body as he easily hoists her up, carrying her bridal style out of the bathroom, "have you eaten anything in the past week?" But Tori was too weak to answer.
Eric immediately took her back to his house and set out to get her water, a vomit bag, and one of his tee shirts. By the time he came back into his room with everything, she was fast asleep. He left all of his gatherings on his bedside table then gently removed her shoes. "Guess I'm sleeping outside tonight" he sighed as he turned to the linen closet in the hallway to get sheets for the couch. He was five steps out of the rooms when he heard Tori scream sobs, clearly experiencing night terrors from the night, as she never had any sort of terrors before this experience. Eric decided against his better judgment that he should stay with Tori and slid in next to her. Scooping her into his right forearm and carefully placing his left arm across her stomach, he delicately kissed her exposed shoulder blade and "swore he would always be there to protect her." She stirred a bit nestling herself further into Eric's embrace. She let out a sigh of relief that seemed like she had been holding in for a while. This position was both natural and comforting for them both, skin in contact everywhere it could, breathing in unison. Their physical bodies seemed to fit together perfectly as if created to click together. Eric hadn't realized how much he had missed this and how desperately he craved this. Together both fell asleep to the most peaceful sleep either had gotten in weeks.
