Once Upon a time, there were three Girls: Isabelle, Judy and Catarine.
They were the best of friends and they were also siblings.
Their father; Adrian and mother; Fidelia loved them very much.
The girls all got along just fine, until one day when their new neighbor moved into the neighborhood.
The new neighbor was this girl called Lucy, who depite ot looking it, was not the best of individuals at all.
In fact, she was so jealous of the Girl's great bond, that she sought to tear them apart.
She reluctantly befriended them and played it cool just long enough to get her plan into action and to fan the flames.
How she did this was that one day she found out that these girls all liked the same fruit: an apple.
It didn't matter which type or color of apple, they just like apples a whole bunch! Although they did have their preferences.
That's what gave Lucy a clever plan to get the sisters at eachother's throats.
To do this she had to speak each sister seperately.
One day at school, she spoke to Judy when they "happen" to go to the girl's room at the same time and convinced her that Red apples had the best flavor and was better than all others because it was the healthiest choice of apple in the world!
One day whilst they were playing hide and go seek at the park, Lucy convinced Catarine that Yellow apples had the best flavor and was better than all others because it was the healthiest choice of apple in the world.
Last but not least, one day when she was on a play date with the girls, she secretly convinced Isabelle that green apples had the best flavor and was better than all others because it was the healthiest choice of apple in the world.
The girls never told eachother what Lucy had told them because she asked of them to remain silect about it, because it was "their secret". They kept their promise and everything went without a hitch, until one day when visiting the supermarket with their parents.
When Fidelia and Adrian took the girls through the produce section, and asked the girls to go grab a few apples, place them in one bag and bring it to the cart whilst mom and dad pick out some vegetables.
When the sisters got to the apples, each girl started picking out the corresponding color that Lucy told them about and placing them in a bag they themselves picked.
Isabelle was the first to notice what her sisters were doing. "Hey! Dad told us to use only one bag! And why are you picking out Yellow and Red apples?! He clearly wanted us to pick out green ones!"
Judy answered:"Uh, no he didn't! He asked us to pick out Red apples and why did you pick out a bag?! I picked out a bag before you did, so there was no need for more!
Catarine looked up from the yellow apples she was picking out and notice her sisters disagreeing over the bags and choice of apples. "Hey girls, keep it down! Where going to annoy the other shoppers!"
Isabelle retorted: "Hey Judy, Look who's talking...Little miss; Yellow apples!"
"Hey! At least I'm looking out for our health! These apples will make sure we never have to get sick, ever again!" Catarine proudly anwered.
"Hahahahahah!" Her sisters laughed at her.
"No it won't! In fact, those things are so bad for you, you might as well be digging up your own grave! Everyone knows red is the best!" Judy declared.
"No! Green is the best!" Isabelle yelled.
"RED!" Catarine screamed.
The yelling got so loud that many of the shoppers just stopped to stare at them and the parents who moved quite a few aisles away and were near the meat freezers, had to double back when the noticed it was their children who causing the comotion!
"What is going on here?!" Fidelia demanded to know.
"Remember when dad told us to go pick out apples? Well, I already got a bag and started to pick out my favorites when Isabelle and Catarine started to do the same, and dad told us to only use one bag." Judy answered.
"Well, just place all your apples in one bag then, it's not a big deal." Fidelia suggested.
"Yes it is!" Catarine jumped in.
"How so?" Adrian asked.
"B-because my yellow apples would be touching the other colors!" Catarine explained.
"Sweety, it's not as bad as you're making it out to be; they're all just the same type of fruit. Yes they may taste differently, but that's about it." Adrian tried to explain.
"But that's not it! Green apples are way healtier than Red and yellow apples! I don't want my green ones to catch all the deseases the other ones have!" Isabelle retorted.
Adrian and Fidelia looked at eachother for a moment and then back at their daughters.
"What happened to you three? You all used to love apples just the same, no matter what the color of the peel was."
The girls were starting the feel the weight on their shoulders, they only now noticed the people staring at them and how they embarrassed their parents.
They really didn't want to break their promise to Lucy, but they can't lie to their parents and deny the logic and wisdom in their words either. They HAVE changed. They were never like this, they were the best of friends as well as sisters...What could have caused them to become these monsters of pure hatred towards their own family, their own kind, their own blood?
Catarine noticed Lucy somewhere in the crowd. She was quite a distance away from them, but she recognised her anyway. Lucy was trying to hide a smirk, but she already saw it. Catarine nudged her sisters and subtly signaled them to look over at Lucy. Only when all three girls had their eyes in her did she freeze.
"LUCY DID IT!" They blurted out and pointed at Lucy through the crowd.
Adrian and Fidelia understood what happened and gently explained to their daughters what they did wrong and why they should have asked their parents for guidance. Mom and Dad decided they would have a word with Lucy's parents after they were done shopping and the girls made up for their silly arguements and vowed never to listen or play with Lucy ever again, because their bond with eachother and their parents was worth so much more than whatever Lucy wanted them to become.
Adrian and Fidelia were going to talk to Lucy's parents, but turns out they already caught wind of what happened and grounded her for life!
The three girls became the best of friends again and lived happily ever after.
The end.
