Thoughts flow thought my head as I lead against the post watching the night sky with my dog Alex. I didn't like him but it was the only real way to get out side to where I could be free. My mom, step dad, and two older brothers. We lived together under this one roof. Driving each other of the walls, and not caring what the other wants nor needs. I could hear my mother yelling at Jake the oldest of us. It's so old that I know when to talk, not to talk, walk away, and hide.

I turned to look at the the door that would lead me back in. The white paint chipping off in places while the glass had smug marks all over it. The house with the dark secerts.m The one I hated and wished I could just run away from. Nope no can do am stuck her til am eighteen. I so can't wait. Maybe then I can escape this place. Some would say I have alot of secerts on my heads even my family thinks that. It's true I do but they know them to. Not all but enough to shut upand keep quite about them.

I opened the door Alex going in before me like always. As soon as I stepped in the yelling got louder I quickly closed the door so the nieghbor's wouldn't here us. I pulled off my pink hood. Looking at luke who sat there on the leather couch ignoring them. My step father or David that's what I call him. Was in the kitchen. This whole family has been thought so much. Four weddings, four divorces, and soon one funeral. We all knew one of us wouldn't be stronge enough to go on much longer. The fighting, yelling, slamming doors, and throwing things at each other.

It was to much. One of us will break. Mother was still yelling at Jake. It was his fault plus no one was brave enough to aruge with mom. I headed up the stairs not caring anymore. The stairs and walls were like pages out of a book. You took one look and you could tell this place is so different from other houses. It's a dark and cold place that no one wants to be around. But this places still held its shape and ground.

As I entered my room. The purple walls almost black while my whites sheets on my bed glowing. My bedside lamp was the only light I had on. To my surpise Midnight was still laying on the other side of the bed. Curled into a little ball. I walked over to my closet searching for my favorite pj top. I already had on my shorts. Taking off my hoodie I got into my mickey mouse pj shirt and made my way to my bed. Looking over at my clock it read one o'clock in the morning. I was glad it was summer so I didn't have to get up early.

That is if I could get some sleep. I heard someone creeping up the steps but I didn't bother to find out who it was. I had my door locked because at a early age I learned it keeps you safe in a whole lot of ways. Am the only one who lives up stairs it's the only bedroom up here. I heard a light knock on the door. Getting up I looked toward my mirrior. My brown stairght hair fell to my shoulders while my brown eyes showed how upset and sad. If I went out there like this I would be called weak and no one in that lived here wanted to be called that now nor ever.

I put on mask hiding all my emtion not wanting anyone to see. When I opened the door fully I found Luke leaning up against the wall looking down at the floor. I could hear that mom had finally stopped and I could bet that Jake has already snuck out. Going to probably get drunk then do it was some girl that he will never see again. I turned my attention back to Luke. '' Hey Lavender. How's it going?'' He pushed me to the side while making his way in. He sat on my bed looking down at his hands. I could tell he was letting down his walls. I locked the door again.

It was my turn to let down my walls and to be honest I was scared. As I sat next to him he just stared down at his hands. I've never ever seen my tough older and stronge brother look like he was going to break down. Nope he had a little control over what I saw on his face. He looked up into my eyes. Clearing his thoart at the same time. '' How have you been Lavender? Yon know we haven't really talked in awhile.''

This was not apart of my plan for tonight. In like an hour am going to a house party and I really don't want to have this talk right now. '' I've been good, Luke. I know you want to talk and all but I just don't feel like it right know, ok?'' He nodded his head and got up. I then noticed he looked awhole lot different from yesterday. I pushed it aside. Tonight I was going to have fun and forget what was hanging over all of are heads.

Am not the most popular girl. If you get on my bad side then let's just say that I know all your secret and thing you don't want to tell people. Am working my way up there. Am the seconded most popular girl in school. When their was only thirty minutes left til the party started I got up and creeped over to my closet by now everyone was asleep.

I slowly opened it so it wouldn't make a sound. Walking in my jewlery box that was in the corner started to go off. I jumped making my skinny jeans fall to the floor. It must be twelve o'clock already the party didn't start til twelve-thirty. I bent down and picked them up. I probably had like ten things that could go off in my room and they did but only at a certain time. Somewhere hinden others not so much.

I knew where this one came from but I didn't dare turn it off. When I was three I did and let's just say we had some pretty bad night from that. I let it somewhat swaying to the music. I quickly refocesed and picked out my one shoulder pink shirt that only went to my ribs. I got my underwaer and a black tank top. Once I was all dressed and ready to go I grabbed my perce. I made my way down the stairs and into the garge grabbing my keys.

My new mustage was waiting for me. When I got to the driver's side I saw something on the stering wheel. I got in and ingored what ever it was. I throw it in the back seat not really caring anymore. Backing out of the driver way and onto the road. Once I was out I saw my bedroom light go on and a tall dark figure hiding behind my white curtains. I knew for a fact it was no o ne who lived here.
