Seth's POV:
Officer Park spoke rapidly into a mouthpiece as Seth lowered himself into his office chair, sliding the top folder to the left of the pile. The second folder's title seemed to pop out at him.
JESUS IS A MYTH
No! Seth's thoughts commanded as the folder evaporated, revealing another one.
TO TRUST LOVE IS VULNERABILTY
The folder evaporated, leaving the last one on Seth's desk top.
WILL YOU TRUST A MYTH AND VOLNERABLITY OR A REAL POWER, MINE?
It vanished and Seth turned to the folder he'd slid to the side, finding two piercing blue eyes peering up at him from the folder. God, help! He cried internally and the eyes disappeared. Seth opened the folder, consciously keeping his hand from shaking. Sketched on black paper there was a basic map of Lakewood with a glowing blue line drawn from the Patrol Department to the Water Filtering Facility.
Taylor's POV:
Her eyelids opened. The quiet breeze had turned into another storm. Rain spat the sidewalk and the police car in front of her. Lightning flashed. Rain broke loose and water streamed down Taylor's face and into her eyes. Her superior agent stood before her, clothed in his dampening police uniform. Taylor leaned forward on the bench so her hood would shield her face.
"Good afternoon, sir. It's good duck weather these days." Taylor greeted the chief with a small, sad smile.
Now since when do I say that?
"SF, is there a Christian church that I can attend a serves at tomorrow?" She asked again as soon as the two of them had slid into the police car and had slammed the doors shut, her face stoic.
"They've all burned to the ground as far as I know or care." Seth replied.
"What about the Fast in Faith organization's building?" Taylor leaned her arm on the arm rest closest to him.
"It's ashes." He turned the key in the ignition, "It's happening to cities all over North and South America. We need to shut this power down."
