Why did you argue to watch a scary movie? You hated them with a passion, why anyone would spend time watchinf a movie that's. Its whole purpose is to scare you to the point where you couldn't even fall asleep at night. But you remembered why you agreed to this. 

Calum and the rest of the guys. They always liked having sleep overs, and Calum would always make you show up, after all you and him were like a package deal, there really wasn't anything you two wouldn't do together. You met through Luke, and instantly became best friends.

And here you are in Calum's house watching scary movie because Michael chose it. You knew that you had to bare it through it'd be at most 2 hours.

"Hey y/n are you alright?" Calum asked as he was sitting right next to you like he always does.

"Yea, I'm fine Cal." you said not wanting to worry anyone.

"No, youu're not y/n, I know when you're lying to me." He said with a smile. You were about to tell him when a loud crash from the movie, making you scream and bury ur head against Calum's chest.

"You're scared?" he asked with amusement. You nodded, burying your face further to his body. But then you felt his arms wrap around you, bringing you closer as he place his head on top of yours.

"I'll keep you save." He whispered to your ear and slowly you felt your fear melt away. The film is finally over and it's time for you all to sleep since you all were sleepy.

"Hey y/n, how about you go to sleep and we'll take care of the mess ok" he said as he got up and streched.

"Hey how come she doesn't have to clean?" Michael asked.

"Because she wasn't the one that was throwing popcorn" he answered.

"Y/n I have some of your clothes in the bottom drawer if you want." he told you. You nodded & made your way to his room to change.

You decided to help them because you feel it's unfair when you don't help to clean too. As u came closer, you heard the guys talking.

"So Cal, when are you going to tell her? Ashton asked.

"I don't know, I really want to tell her, but I just can't." Calum admitted.

"It's not that hard Calum, just go up to y/n & tell her that you like her" Michael added.

"Shut up Michael, what if she heard you," Calum said with a worried tone.

"You really should tell her though. I mean who knows maybe she'll like you too, but you have to try." Luke said casually.

Your eyes widened. Calum likes you. You feel your heart racing. Were you slowly realizing that maybe you're falling for Calum without even knowing it?

"I get it, I should tell y/n that I really like her, but she's also my bestfriend, and as much as I'd love her to be mine, I can't risk losing her if she doesn't feel the same for me. I don't mind that she doesn't like me, because just being there for her is enough. But who knows maybe one day I'll tell her." He said confidently.

He really did love you and maybe you were starting to feel the same way too.
