Chapter 10

I walk down the stairs dressed and ready to go. My dad and Harry were sitting on opposite ends of the couch looking equally pissed off and the rest of the guys sitting in the living room just staring at both of them.

"Ready to go?" I ask. My dad put on a fake smile, nodding to my question and standing up.

I went to kiss Harry goodbye, but he flinched back.

"what's wrong?" I ask sitting down on the arm of the couch.I gave him a questioning look and he gave me a quick peck on the cheek and said said a quiet goodbye.

I was left a little disappointed with the goodbye I got but I didn't let it show. I walk over to my dad letting him he put his hand on my back and lead me out of the house.

My dad leads us out to his car. He opens my door for me and shuts it once I'm and and walks around to get in himself.

"What do you think that was all about?" I ask my father after we pulled out of the driveway.

"What do you mean?" he asks.

"Harry wouldn't kiss me goodbye." I said sadly.

"I don't know." he replied but something in his voice told me he was lying.

"So where to you want to eat?" my father asks changing the subject quickly.

"I don't care Nandos maybe."

We drive to Nando's in silence except for the quiet tune playing from the radio. Went we pull into the parking lot and park the car. We get out of the car and walk to the entrance of the restaurant.

(I've never been to Nandos so bare with my here)

We walk up to the sever podium and told her it would only be us two dining and she brought us to a table for two.

The hostess told us our server would be right with us. While we waited for our server we looked over the menu.

"Hi my names Alexys and I'll be your sever today, What can I get you to drink." Our server Alexys said. "

Hi Alexys, can I get a Sprite please." My dad says

"And may I get a Coke please?" I ask "

"You may and I will be right back with those." Our waitress says.

Our waitress Alexys comes back with our drinks and my day and I both thank her.

"Are you guys ready to order?" Alexys asks us.

"I think I need a few more minutes to decide." I smile up at her.

"Okay no problem." she says with a smile and walks away.

"she's nice" I said "She's only being nice because of who I am" He says hinting for me to look behind me. I searched until my eyes landed on a cheerful dirty blonde woman staring at us. "Oh" that's the only thing I could say. It's so wrong of him to think that about her, what if she's genuinely nice. I stayed silent after that looking over my menu. I put my menu down when I finally decided on the Chicken Pâté.

"Hey Iz, I have something to tell you and I'm not sure if you'll like it." my father says.

"Well then don't tell me." I try to avoid the news my dad was trying to tell me.

"No I think I better tell you now." he says

There was a slight pause before he continues.

"I don't want you seeing Harry anymore" he says not making any eye contact with me what so ever.

"What why?" I said my eyes brimming with tears.

I see the pain flash in is eyes out of realisation that he is making my cry.

" Harry is on of my best friends...... no ..... he's like a brother to me and I don't want to end a relationship with him just because you two broke up, and plus it's not even legal."

"But dad!" I try to argue

"No buts end of conversation" my dad says firmly.

Alexys comes back and takes our orders and tells us that our food will be out shortly. We both thanked her and she walked away to put our orders into the computer for the chef.

By now we've gained the attention of people from other tables. A few of them gave us strange glances and others gave my dad flirtatious smile and waves.

"I need to go to the restroom." I say standing up grabbing my purse and walking straight to the restroom paying no mind to the girls running to the table to get a picture with my dad.

I soon as I walked in to the restroom I lock the door behind me. I dug through my purse to find my phone. Once I found it I dialled a number that has become far to familiar to me.

"Hello" The voice answered after the second ring.

"Hey can you come and get me. Dad and I are at Nando's and its not going well." I sniffle

"Yeah of course I'll be there in a few" The other end answers.

"Okay text me when your here." I say.

"Alright I will bye " the voice answers.

"Bye" I say and end the call.

I put my phone back into my purse while walking over to the mirror. I touch up my makeup and remove the makeup that was under my eyes. By the time I was done my phone beeps signiling that I have a message.I read the message and walked straight out the bathroom and straight out of the restaurant ignoring my dad calling my name. Just as my dad walks outside just as I was about to get in the car. He realises who's car it is and turns around making his way back into the restaurant.

"Hey dad just get my food to-go" I say before getting into the car.

He waves his hand as a sign of dissmisal.

"Thank you for picking me up Harry" i say kissing his ever so soft lips

" No problem baby" he says returnimg the kiss

Harry pulls put of the parking lot and starts to head in the direction of my new home.

"You can't take me there thats the first place he'll look for me. " I say

"I didn't know we were hiding from him" Harry states

"We're not I just don't want to see him right now"

Without another word Harry pulls into the next U-turn section  and proceedes to drive into the direction of his house.

On our drive Harry explains to me what wemt down between him and my dad while I was upstairs. Basically what happened was my dad went off on him the day that I left with my mom because he thought Harry did things to me but in reality he was nothing but nice to me. He also got mad at him the day that the boys come over to surpise us. He was upset by the way he kissed me and then announced our realationship like it was nothing which is completly untrue, it meant the world to me, and today, today was the worse day. My dad was yelling at him that Harry was being too sexaul with me and that he was upset thst he didn't even ask if he could date me. My dad wanted Harry to breakup with me and to leave me alone and the rest of the boys agreed.

' Thats explains everything that happened this morning.' I thought to myself.

The rest of the car ride was silent except the radio softly playing Never Say Never by The Fray. 

When we got to his house, Harry got us some food and we cuddled of the couch watching The Titanic. We we're about half way through the movie when I was just about to fall asleep until there was a knock at the door.
