It was my first day back in Huffman since I left for Italy 2 years prior on a scholarship. Italy was beautiful and I dreaded coming back and facing all my problems.

One thing that was perfect was I got a little bit of a fashion since because of my friend Annastacia aka my roommate. When I got out of the taxi I was rushed over to and I was expecting to get tackle but I just got stared at by all my brothers and their friends. "Damn Baby,LOOK AT U!!" Michael said which earned him a slap on the back of the head from Creg. "BABY!!" I heard an unfamiliar voice call then before I knew it I was lifted off the ground "Mason!! I missed you so much..Whoa?" I said shocked at the sight before me. "Lainey your so beautiful!" He said giving me a whirl "eh not so bad your self working out I see." As I laughed and grabbed my bags and went to my room with a million eyes burning a hole in my back. I spun around "Mase you coming??" And as he nodded my oldest brother hollered "KEEP THE DOOR OPEN LAINEY PAYNE!!!" "OH BITE ME!" I yelled back as made jumped on the bed " wanna go to the pool hall then a party??" "Ugh do I Ever!!" I replied shimming my shoulders. I knew Mason just wanted to show the new me off since I was his best friend since we were like 3.

At the pool hall Kolen was behind the counter and asked if I wanted a pool stick or a seat not recognizing me. "Stupid,its me Lainey!!" I said laughing." Lainey?!?" Kolen said astonished. Kolen Andy'sbest friend and like a brother to me. Mason didn't like him not even the slightest. One time Mason and me were playing and Kolen put a worm in my pants and Masons beat him up with a tickle me Elmo. Mason and me started to play pool and I felt hands on my waist.."hey cutie let me help you out," he said and I dreaded to see and hear him. I turned around and saw him "What do you want Ryan?" I said in a pissed off tone. " Well,is that the wonderous Lainey Payne??" He said astonished. "Why yes it is and by the way it looks youre still Cocky Ryan I replied with a smirk. "That hurt," he said as he out his hand over his heart. "So Lainey are you going to the bonfire? Or are you still Scaredy Lainey??" He said as he grinned. " Of course alots changed but you didn't," "Well I'll believe when I see it gotta run I'll talk to you later Payne," he said as he winked and began walking out of the pool hall. "Lainey let's just go," Mason said irritatingly.

"Maybe we should get revenge.." I said to Mason with a devious look as we got into his car. "Yeah they did do some pretty fucked up shit to you," he replied.
