chapter 9

(Sebastian’s point of view)

Standing in the doorway of the living room and listening to Katherine and Quien talk a bit.

“So have you told Katerine that you to are mates yet?”

“Yes Claude I told her she needed to know because she's still awaking. Hell I’m just worried that I’m going to do something that is going to get me rejected but her.” My face full of worry and concern.  

Right before Claude hits my arm I stop him with my hand. When is he going to learn that I’m still stronger than him. “I don’t know why your getting yourself all worked up about it. You don’t really know anything about her.”

I glare and growl at his words. “I may not know much about her but I do know that I already love her. And that she is mine and I will make her mine no matter what.” As I’m saying this he is getting onto Quien for something.

“Okay chill out man. I need to tell you something important.”

“What is it?”

“Quien’s my mate but I don’t know how to exactly tell. Or if I should just let it happen.”

“Bro that’s up to you but I just can’t believe your giving me shit about Katherine being my mate and her knowing. But it's funny that we both finally found our mates and it’s even better that they are friends...So are you going to change her after she accepts you or what?”

“Sebastian I don’t really know if I could handle changing her or watch it happen to her.”

“So what you're saying is if or when the time comes you want me to change her?” Asking with a raised eyebrow.

“No...well yes.” Claude sighs as he admits that he wants me to do it. My brother has never been good at controlling his thirst when he drinks from a live source. Even though he doesn’t really need to drink from her to change her just bite her and then give her his blood. But being that close to the pulse just drives him crazy.

“Fine, I’ll do it for you little brother but you’re going to give her your blood.”

“Okay I can do that.”

“Oh and help her go through the change cause I’m not going to deal with it.”

“Okay Sebastian, I get it.”

“Well I need to get back to my room and do some work.” I stair and listen to the girls conversation and get lost in my thoughts. When Claude calls Quien to go back to their room.

Quien and Katherine say their goodbyes and then me and katherine go to my room.

Once we get back to my room Katherine goes to my bed with her mothers book and reads more of it. She seems to be eager to learn more about herself which makes me happy to see her so focused.

I smile at her but she doesn't even notice me walk past to my desk. I start doing paperwork for my company. I keep looking up at my little girl, she kicking her feet in the air as she reads. I just wonder when she is going to try some spells.

She looks at me and smiles sweetly as I smile back and start working again. A few hours pass and she is snoring. She is so cute when she is asleep. I wish I could just go over there and cuddle her but there's so much work that I need to finish.

As I'm watching her she slips her thumb into her mouth. Ugh I better get her a paci. I reach into my desk and grab an unopened one. Getting up walking over to her. I remove her thumb and place the pacifier into her mouth. I also take her mother's grimoire from underneath her head. She grabs my hand and pulls me a bit.

“Does someone want to cuddle with daddy?” I ask her teasingly. Knowing that's exactly what she wants.

She just nods her head yes. “Baby you need to use your words, okay?”

“Fine. Yes, I want to cuddle.” Her voice so soft and genital.

“Okay kitten just this once, understand?” Getting into the bed and covering both of us up with a blanket.

“Mhm daddy”

It felt fucking great to have her in my arms again. Her sweet smell that drove me crazy it was like night scented stock. I wonder if she was smelling my scent yet. I just hope that I smell just as good as she dose. Breathing her in just made me want her even more than I already did.

As I move a bit to get more comfortable as turns to face me and snuggles into my chest. I kiss her forehead as she falls back asleep. I hold her closer as I take a nap with her in my arms.

I wake up to Kat moving around and trying to face me. So I closed my eyes again that way she thinks that I'm still asleep. I can feel her eyes on me as she starts to rub my cheek. I smile softly and she pulls her hand away from my cheek.

“Little one why did you stop?” I open my eyes so that I'm looking at her and can see that she is blushing.

She quickly sits up. “I'm sorry I just wanted to touch you….” She looked like she was doing something wrong.

“Kat you can touch me all you want. It's not like I'm going to bite you...well unless you want me to.” I say with a devilish smile that causes her to turn away.

“What the fuck are you doing to me!?” Her voice laced with anger and confusion. Her body must be realising that I'm hers.

“Watch your mouth young lady. And I am not doing anything to you. It is just your body realising that we are mates, most likely. Tell me what do I smell like to you?”

She turned and sniffed me. As she did her eyes widened as I gave her a small smile. “It's like rain but not just anywhere but in the woods in the middle of a field.” Her words so soft and almost in hearable. I just nodded.

“See dollface it's nothing to be scared of l, just accept it already, please for me.” I reach for her hand and hold it as I wait.

“I am but it's going to take time.” She finally said as I lightly squeeze her hand. “But I'm scared also.”

“I understand you being scared. After all this is a whole new world for you and it takes time to get used to, okay?” Katherine just nods yes. “Now let's get a small lunch for the both of us. And we’ll just eat in here since I still have work to do. And yes you’ll be having another glass of blood with it, and if you fight me on I’ll put in a bottle and make you drink it.” I say in a stern voice as her eyes widen.

“Well, maybe I want it in a bottle. And maybe, just maybe I want you to feed it to me.” Her words caught me off guard. But her face so innocent and flushed. Was she slipping into little space or was she testing me to see if I really was a daddy dom. But if she wants me to feed it to her I will and I’ll be so happy to.
