The light, delicate, crisp touch winters white facade drifts purposefully onto my clothed, heated body and my untouched face as I roamed the streets without purpose.
The streets were coated with the white facade of winters eye. Even with the constant stream of snow sweepers, you could still see the ongoing struggle of the heavily changed cars dragging themselves through the 3 feet of snow.
But as for myself, I love the snow. It represents optimism in a sense. I mean think about it, the clear crystal snow was once gaseous water particles in a cumulonimbus cloud that that became a liquid as a side effect of precipitation, as that water hits the troposphere it becomes solid ice.
Gas, to liquid, to solid. All three elemental groups on our periodic table. It shows the potential to life, but not just that; it represents the beginnings of science. Which is optimism in its purist form.
But that being said, optimism is just an opinion.
Finally, I see the "oh so famous" coffee enlaced beverage chain that goes by the ever so popular name of Starbucks.
Realizing this would be a good opportunity to check for job availability, I decided it would be a shame to pass up the opportunity to get a minimum wage job to take some of this useless free time off my hands hands.
I make my way towards the shop entrance, listening to the welcoming sound of jingles, I open the door. The smell of fresh coffee bean instantly greeting my senses.
I lay my order out in my head as I make my way towards the register. Making sure I can order quickly and accomplish my more prevailing task for the visit.
When I approach the register I take out my Debit card. I place my order, while not truly listening to the cashier.
"Carmel Mocha with a pump of toffee," I say absentmindedly. The cashier mumbles some incoherent words that I couldn't understand.
"Pardon?" I say as a puzzled expression etches it's way onto my face.
"I said what will this order be under sir," The cashier finally says in a quiet voice.
I finally take the effort to look up at her quizzical features and I say my signature line.
"Ashton, Ashton Irwin"
