Youngmin didn't understand why he was like this or how it started. He didn't understand how he ended up with this curse.

He wished it would end. All of it. He wanted nothing to do with anyone, so he isolated himself from everyone. He only went to school even when he did, he didn't open his mouth to say a single word.

Y/n is a girl who went through a lot in her past. Losing her brother, being kicked out of her parent's house, getting a job, an apartment, and going to school.

She works at a small cafe down the street.

Every day he was at the cafe. He always got the same things, and he always never talked. She grew more and more courageous if him every day.

Why didn't he talk? Why is he here every day always getting the same things? Can I maybe become his friend? Did he have friends?

~

You walk to the cafe after a long day of high school. You walk into the break room and put down your small backpack.

You get some water and sit down at the little table and pulled out a book from your backpack and started to read while you wait for your shift to start.

You heard the bell ring indicating someone has walked in. You run out of the room and push open the door that leads behind the cash register.

It was him again. But what did you expect? Then he walked up to the counter.

"I'm guessing you're going to get your usual?" You asked him for giving a friendly smile. He smiled a bit and nodded. You didn't know why you wanted to get him to talk every time he walked in. Maybe because you wanted to be his friend seeing that you have no friends of your own.

You went and made him his usual order of coffee. You came back out to see him shuffling through his backpack. He pulled out 5 dollars and put it on the counter. Before you gave him what he wanted, he had to give you what you wanted.

"You know, you come here a lot but I never did catch your name." He looked up at you with a slightly surprised look. I guess he's not used to people talking to him.

He mumbled something under his breath which wasn't clear enough for you to understand.

"Here, let's go get a table and we can talk there," he didn't really like that idea but he went with it. You grabbed the money and put into the container. You followed behind him, letting him choose where to sit.

It was his normal spot that was in the corner but next to the window. You both sat down.

" Youngmin," he said just loud enough for you to hear. You didn't know why he was talking so soft when there was no one else is here.

"My name is y/n. Nice to meet you." You said smiling at your accomplishment of getting him to talk. He continues to sip his coffee. You didn't know what to say next.

"So um what high school do you go to?" I kinda hope we go to the same so that way we can talk more often and become friends.

He looked up at you from his drink. He then shuffles through the backpack that was next to him and pulls out a notebook and a pen.

You looked really confused. He opened the notebook to a blank page and began to write. When he was done he spun around the notebook you can see it.

"Oh, we both go to the same high school. But, that's weird I've never seen you there before. " he turns the notebook towards him and writes with a small smile on his face.

It said 'i have my ways'

He looked at the watch on his wrist with a surprised look then began to write again.

It said 'I have to go. It was really nice meeting you. Well, see ya around.'

He placed the notebook and pen in his backpack. Before he left he turned around with a smile and waved you goodbye and you did the same.

I still wonder why he doesn't talk the only thing he said was his name. I guess I'll have to ask tomorrow.
