Living in London was a dream come true, I always said I would come to London and fall in love but falling in love didn’t come as easy as moving. I found some new friends that I would always hang out with, always on a Friday night we would go to the local cafe which held small concert. “Whos playing tonight?”I asked. “This band called the vamps” my friend said. “Are they any good?” I asked. “yea they are making it big, how come you haven’t heard of them?” she asked. “Because im not that big in music” I said. “Well they are amazing and they are a pretty big deal here” she said. “Then why are they playing here?” I asked. “because they did play here before they made it big and now they wanted to come back home and show some love to the ones who were here from the start” she said. “Oh that’s cool” I said. “Just low key performance” she said. “Oh ok” I said. “You will fall for Brad, ill tell you that” she said as we walked into the cafe. As soon as we walked in I saw someone on the stage, they were warming up and doing some sound check things but there was just something about him. He looked up and we both locked eyes with each other, it just seemed like we were the only two in the room. “W-Who is that?” I asked. “That would be Brad” she said. “Wow” I said with a smile. “See I told you” she said as we took our seats. Through the whole performance he would looked over to where I was sitting and just smile before turning his attention back to the crowd in front of him. After the performance they got off the stage and I was still sitting with my friends just messing around singing a few songs that came on the radio. “Wow” he said as he made his way to our table. “What?” I asked before turning to look at him. “Your amazing, you have an amazing voice” he said. “Um thank you” I said as I started to get nervous. “Im Brad” he said. “And i-i-im” I started to say. “Shes Sami” my friend said. “Sami its nice to meet you” he said as he sat down next to me. “You too” I said. “No need to be nervous” he said as he looked at me. “Sorry” I said. “Never be sorry for something you didn’t do” he said with a smile. “Why you come over here?” I asked. “Because you caught my attention from the moment you walked into the door” he said. “Really?” I asked. “Yea” he said. Everyone introduced themselves to him as they started to talk, he continued to sit next to me trying to make me feel comfortable. “So guys do you mind if I steal Miss. Sami away?” he asked. “Go for it” my friend said. He grabbed my hand and helped me up as we started to walk out the back way into the ally so no one would see us. “Are you ok with being back here?” he asked. “Dark ally with someone I dont know in the middle of London? I dont see why not” I said. “Oh so you have jokes” he said. “Im sorry just trying to calm myself” I said. “I told you, you have nothing to worry about” he said. “Just not good meeting new people” I said. “Well you have to be because your not from here” he said. “How do you know?” I asked. “Because one you keep calling it London and two you dont have an accent” he said. “Oh” I said as I looked down. “Hey what I say?” he asked as he titled my chin up to look at him. “Nothing, but you are right im not from here” I said. “See I know things, relax?” he said as he moved closer to me. I backed away from him only to run into the wall that was behind me, he was still moving closer to me placing his hands on my hips. “Am I scaring you?” he asked. “A little bit” I said. He backed away as soon as I said those words, I didn’t know him but there was something about him that I wanted to get to know. “Im sorry” he said. “Don’t be sorry for something you didn’t do” I said. “Oh taking my words I see” he said with a smile. “Why are you interested in me?” I asked. “There is something different about you” he said. “That’s good right?” I asked. “Of course” he said. “Thank you” I said. “Look since your so nervous why don’t we exchanged numbers and take it from there” he said. “Sure” I said as I handed him my phone. He handed his phone to me as we placed our numbers in each others phones. I started to walked away and I looked back at him, I couldn’t help but smile. “I better hear from you” I said. “Trust me you will” he said. I went back inside the cafe and caught up with my friends, it was a normal Friday night as we all went our separated ways and went home. That night I sat up mostly all night talking to Brad on the phone, it seemed like I could talk to him for hours and I was ok with that. Later on that week I agreed to meet him at this restaurant in downtown London, I didn’t know what to wear so I deiced to through on anything and go down town. It was getting cold in London so I got a taxi instead of walking, I finally arrived and he was standing outside waiting for me. “Brad what are you doing?” I asked. “Waiting for you” he said as he reached for my hand. I grabbed his which was cold, I pulled his hand closer to mine to warm it up. “What are you doing?” he asked. “trying to warm you up” I said. “Thank you” he said as we finally got to our seats. I sat down but instead of him sitting across from me he sat down right next to me, just like the first time we meet. We ordered our drinks as well as our food, just to get it out of the way so we could be alone. It was a nice restaurant and we were sitting by the fireplace. “Im glad you decided to meet me here” he said. “why wouldn’t I?” I asked. “because the first time we meet” he said. “I was nervous because I didn’t know you” I said. “And you know me now?” he asked. “Getting there, I enjoy talking to you” I said. “Impacted your sleep” he said. “That doesn’t matter, I like talking to you” I said as I looked at him. I moved so that I was facing him so we could talk better, I never thought anyone could capture my heart but somehow he did. “I like talking to you as well” he said as he turned to face me. “Really?” I asked. “Always asking really” he said with a smile. “Because I want to know” I said. “Do you have to know everything?” he asked. “Of course not everything” I said. “Good because somethings you don’t need to know” he said. “ok” I said as I looked at him. Once our food got to the table things went quiet until we finished eating, we left the restaurant holding hands walking back to my apartment. “So ill see you later?” he asked. “Of course” I said. “Well it was a fun night, ill talk to you later” he said. “Good night” I said. He leaned in and kissed me softly, I wrapped my arms around his neck as he placed his hands onto my hips. Soon we both pulled away and went our different ways, I went into my apartment with a smile on my face as he walked away with one on his.
-3 Months later-
The past three months have been the hardest three months of my life, word got out that Brad and I was dating when it was true. He denied everything and besides that I was getting slammed with hate on twitter and the media wouldn’t leave me alone. Brad and myself lost contact with each other as soon as things started to go bad, I never thought he would be the one to do this to me. The first month wasn’t bad because I got to hang out with Brad and spend as much time as I possibly could and I found myself falling for him. As soon as one picture got out things just changed, I couldn’t really explain it but I don’t know how we went from our honeymoon state to divorce within a few days. “Have you talk to Brad” Someone asked. “Can you guys give me a break, I need to go to my class” I said as I pushed past them. There was no stopping them, I hated all the questions and lies but what could I do? “Have you talk to Brad” my friend asked as I meet up with her. “No I havent, everything changed when that picture was posted” I said. “I never thought he would do that” he said. “I got to know him, hes amazing and I fell in love with him and then all of a sudden hes gone” I said. “Im sure he has an explanation” she said. “I dont even know” I said. “I know he does, come with me” she said as she grabbed my hand taking me back to the ally that was behind the cafe. Brad was standing there waiting for us to show up, at this point I didst even want to talk to him. “No I have to go” I said. “Wait” he said as he grabbed my hand nodding to my friend so she can leave. “let me go Brad’ I said. “Can I at least talk to you?” he asked. “Talk to me about what? How you just left when things got hard” I said. “Look, I cant say sorry enough for that” he said .”Ok good now can I go” I said. “Please just listen to me” he said. “Fine you have 3 minutes” I said. “Management didn’t think it was good idea for me to be tied down to a girlfriend so I had to say what I had to say and change my number, trust me I never wanted to hurt you” he said. “Why” I asked. “I fell just as hard as you did and you know that, I didn’t want to leave” he said. “then use your voice and stand up” I said. “Please im sorry” he said as he placed his hands on my hips pulling me closer to him. “Brad you hurt me” I said. “i know I did and im sorry” he said as he rested his forehead against mine. I knew once I saw him the feelings would come rushing back for him, there was something telling me to believe him. “Im sorry” he said. “I know you are” I said. “Take me back” he said. “Always” I said. He placed his lips onto mine and kissed me softly, everything came rushing back for us both and we didn’t want to leave each other. “Stay” I said. “Im right here” he said as he grabbed my hand. Before we knew it the media were all over us taking pictures and asking questions, Brad kept his arms around me to protect me as he started to answer the questions. He told the truth to everyone and didnt care what anyone said, I was his girl and no one would take me from him. For a second is seemed like it was no one just us, just like the time we first met. Our love was heating up in the icy cold air that was around us, nothing could stop us from being with each other. A month and a half together and 2 months apart but those were the last 2 months we were ever apart because I was always by his side no matter what.
