It's been 10 long years since I've been accused of murder of two "innocent" people. I'm now 33 and I still look good as the day I was born. "Hey mama you wanna play basket ball see if your fine butt still got it?" I looked towards MY girls and shrugged my shoulders, putting my hair into a ponytail. "Whoever scores the most points gets to be in my cell with me." That boosted everyone's spirits up, because I'm basically like a mom here. I do their hair, tell them right from wrong, and settle fights and disagreements. No, I'm not doing stuff for them like an errand boy, they respect me. They ALL look up to me. There's a lot of young females in this prison. Mostly 17 and 18 years olds, the rest mind their own business and know not to mess with my little girls.
The alarm for the cells to open buzzed roughly in my ear. "Rachel Marianez, your time is up. Let's go. " I walked like a model past the cells of sad and disappointed women. I laughed in my head because I was finally going to get out and smiling towards some of the girls I hanged with. Their eyes filled with the question "are you going to get us". I just simply nodded and went through the door to freedom. As I walked towards the road a limo stopped in front of me. The black tinted window slowly came down and I laughed.
