"Maybe soulmates are just two ordinary people who are too stubborn to let the world pull them apart" - Daily Poem #1 by Nick A West

If you could ask a stranger why the Sherrif accepted the supernatural they'd probably say something about accepting who his wife was, if you were to ask a friend they'd likely say something along the lines of John has always been able to accept the impossible, if you asked his wife and maybe even his son they'd say that John Noah Stilinski has always had a knack for rolling with whatever punches the improbable sends at him. If you asked him, however, he would think of three sentences that destroyed his entire world, and every neighboring galaxy orbiting it only to be instantly recreate something extraordinary in a simple instant of werewolf nosiness.

"I'm sorry to tell you this Sherrif, there's been an accident."

Talia heard as she listened in still ordering her children, and other pack members into trucks and cars texting Deaton with one hand that he was needed back in town from his vet/animal convention, and directing with the other. When you live with this many children multitasking becomes second nature.

"Yes, they've made it to the hospital and are both in surgery."

Talia sighed relieved but still worried. Her husband was a trauma surgeon, and he was getting another call just as the voice on the other side of the Sheriff's phone said goodbye

"I am sorry Sherrif Stilinski but I have to go now."

.

Leo answered his phone and quickly said he was already on his way with his family, their house was on fire and a few probably needed medical treatment but he'd get there as soon as he could. Leo took the first full car he could get his hands on to the hospital, showered and cleaned up, directing his pack to chairs, and doctors, and rooms, and floors, and then he was called in to take over on the emergency surgery for a hit and run.

Really, being Mate and Spouse to the Alpha is such good training for multitasking it should be required.

.

The Sherrif would find out later that his wife had nearly died during surgery and would have a panic attack about it, Melissa will help, he wouldn't realize until a few months later when they learn about Stiles PTSD not long after they learn about the ADHD.

Yes, long before even walking into that hospital the newly appointed Sherrif decided he would accept anything that could possibly save his wife and son.
