Gb was curled up in her blanket on her bed reading a book "Hmm.. what time is it?" She looked up at her clock. 2:46. "I should go to sleep... nah." (A/N me every night) I pulled out my phone and texted tb 'hey are you awake' she typed then pressed send, tb texted back 'golf ball it's 2:00 AM go to sleep' it's what she expected, so she just went to sleep.

(That wasn't important to the story at all I suck ;-;)

Tbs POV
(The next day)
I got up feeling rather tired because after gb texted me last night I couldn't get back to sleep. I pulled out my phone and checked the time. 10:53 AM. Gb is probably still asleep knowing her sleeping schedule. I worked on some research of a topic I was interested in. At about 12:00 I heard a buzz from my phone. 'Hey wanna hang out? Y'know, just chill?' Now, you don't hear that from gb everyday. 'Sure!' I replied. 'Does 1:30 sound good?' I asked. 'Yeah, cya then!' I put down my phone and continued my research for a little longer then at 12:51 I packed the stuff away and got ready to go to golf balls house.

I live close to her so I walked over. I knocked on the door (don't ask how he did this with his legs/feet)
She opened the door and invited me in. We sat on the couch and we talked about the topic I was interested in.

Gbs POV
Gosh, he's so cute when he rambles about whatever he's interested in at the time. Wait did I just say that to myself?! I-I don't have a crush on him, I can't.. it's platonic.. I just brush it off and keep listening to him. But I'm mostly just looking at him. I love when he smiles like that. What am I saying?! Pull yourself together, gb! "Golf ball!" "Huh? Oh, sorry.." "that's okay." He chirps and then keeps rambling. I knew I was blushing, both with embarrassment, and because I like him.. n-no I don't!! Ugh, I need to just stop denying this.. I like him. "Why don't we go somewhere?" He said, and I agreed. "But where?" I asked. "Hmm.. how about a cafe?" I was surprised at the suggestion, but it seemed nice, so I said yes.

"I know one just around the block!" He chirped. Why is he so enthusiastic today?

Tbs POV
Why am I so enthusiastic today? Oh right I had a lot of kafine before I came here. We walked to the cafe and got in line to order. Once it was our turn golf ball ordered a strawberry milkshake and I ordered a banana one. We got our milkshakes and sat down. We took sips while just talking about stuff in general when the topic of love/crushes comes up. Neither of us said our crushes of course, but I was blushing a little talking about it with her, my crush. I cant tell her I like her though because it will probably ruin our friendship. We finish our milkshakes and go back to her house. "It's getting late.." I say, looking at the time. How about we have a sleepover?" She suggests. "That sounds like a great idea!" I exclaim. "Okay, I have a spare sleeping bag, unless you wanna sleep in the bed with me-..." we both blush at the idea, and I'm very flustered too. We stay silent for a moment, then she says "H-how about you sleep in the b-bed.. I mean, you don't have to!!" She looks super flustered. "S-sure.." I mumble. I try to brush it off by changing the topic, sinse it wasn't time for bed just yet.

Gbs POV
"How about we read about puffins?" I understand he's trying to change the topic, that was awkward.. "sure." He pulls a book out of his bag. Wait why does he have a book about puffins- anyway, we read for a bit, then I check the time. "It's 10:50, we might wanna go to sleep." I blush, remembering he's gonna sleep in the bed with me. We lay down, at first far apart, but we gradually got closer to eachother, making me more flustered, and I think he was too. Eventually, I huddle up by him. I look up a little bit, and he looks super flustered, but cuddles back. We cuddle for a bit then fall asleep.

The next morning, I wake up, and remember what happened last night, making me slightly blush. I notice he isn't next to me, but his bag is still in the room. I walk into the living room where he was playing a game on his phone, but didn't notice me. I sit on the couch next to him which made him notice I was there and he closed the app. "Good morning" I said with a yawn. "Good morning!" He replied. "I have something to tell you.." I perk up.

Tbs POV
Oh gosh what am I doing? I guess it's safe to tell her because we cuddled last night, but I'm still nervous.. "I... I think I like you." She looked at me with wide eyes, blushing. I was nervous about what she was gonna say.. "t-tennis ball.." she mumbled, blushing even more. "I.." I braced myself for her response, and there was a long silence. Finally, I felt her kiss me. I was really startled, and the kiss only lasted for a second. "I like you too." I blushed and kissed her again, it lasted longer this time. She pulled away and snuggled into me. I blushed and cuddled back.
