When they arrived at Bear Island it took no less than a minute before Sansa realised how cold and frisk the air was. Colder then Winterfell ever was and maybe even colder than Castle Black?

Almost immediately after docking Sansa, Jon and Arya were greeted by a group of men and led into the Keep where Lady Lyanna Mormount was apparently waiting for them.

Soon enough they entered the small hall. There were a couple of guards standing around, lit candles and a roaring fireplace as well as multiple banners hanging from the walls that bared the sigil of House Mormount; a bear.

Arya stood farthest away from Sansa beside See Davos. That surprise Sansa as she would expect Arya to be right by Jon's side.

Regardless, Sansa straightened her posture and looked at the young Lady Mormount. Not even a woman grown and already in control of her House.

"Lady Mormount," Jon greeted.

"Welcome to Bear Island," Lady Mormount responded, straight-lipped and smoothly.

An awkward silence fell upon them. Jon looked back at Sansa probably hoping she knew what to do next.

"I remember when you were born, milady," Sansa began. "You were named for my aunt Lyanna. They say she was a great beauty and I'm sure you will be too,"

"I doubt it," There was a harshness in Lady Mormount's voice that surprised Sansa. She hadn't expected such harshness from a girl so young. "My mother wasn't a great beauty or any other kind of beauty...She was a great warrior though. She died fighting for your brother Robb,"

Sansa looked back at Jon, not knowing what they should do.

"I served under your uncle at castle black, lady Lyanna," Jon began. "He was also a great warrior and an honourable man. In fact, I was his steward-"

"I think we've had enough small talk. Why are you here?" Lady Lyanna asked.

"Stannis Baratheon, garrisoned at Castle Black before he marched on Winterfell and was killed," Jon began. "He showed me the letter you wrote to him when he petitioned for men. It said-"

"I know what it said. Bear Island knows no King but the King in the North whose name is Stark," Lady Mormount said.

"Robb is gone," Arya said, speaking up. "But house Stark is not. And it needs your support now more than ever. We've come here to asks for House Mormount's allegiance,"

Lady Mormount turned to a Maester who was sitting by her side and whispered something to him.

"As far as I understand Arya Stark died years ago. And your brother is a Snow. And lady Sansa is a Bolton...or is she a Lannister? I've heard conflicting reports," Lady Mormount stated.
