Louis sighed as he woke, hearing the pitter patter of rain fall against the window of his and Harry's shared room. He cuddled up closer to Harry who was spooning him from behind. He slid his hand back over his, giving it a gentle squeeze.
Louis hated the rain for some unknown reason. It always brought his mood down, making him want to do nothing but sleep and cry all day.
Harry knew how Louis got from many rainy days before this one. So, when he woke to the sound of rain drops, he knew what he had to do to make his lover happy.
Harry mumbled a sweet good morning against Louis' skin, making Louis snap out of his thoughts. Louis smiled weakly, turning to slowly face him, kissing his chin. "Good morning boo," he whispered.
"You know what I want to do today?" Harry asked without hesitation to instantly try and change the others mood.
"What's that?" Louis asked, small body slumped.
"I want to build a fort," The curly haired boy stated, making Louis raise an eyebrow. "Alright?" Louis laughed a bit, placing his face into Harry's neck.
Harry hummed out, leaving a kiss into Louis' hair. "C'mon baby boy," he cooed, scooping Louis into his arms as he stood. Louis secured his body to Harry's, letting his carry him downstairs where the fort making was planned to happen.
Louis tried to shake his sadness and replace it for excitement, but he just couldn't, the sound of rain still filling his ears.
Harry didn't plan on having Louis do much work when it came to the making of it all, so he set him on the couch. He kissed his forehead, pushing some of his feathery hair behind his ear then turned to start on the fort.
He tucked sheets into the couch, attached them to another set and tucked those behind the couch. He then threw another two over so it would cover the sides.
Louis found himself starting to smile as he watched his beautiful boyfriend so determined to make the perfect fort.
Harry laid blankets down onto the floor, setting a few pillows up with it. He then switched on the tv, turning on the music channel. He made sure the sound was soft, but enough to block out the rain.
"Now c'mere my love," Harry smiled fondly, laying across the blankets. Louis scrambled off the couch and next to Harry who had open arms.
Louis started to smile even wider, making Harry's heart swell with love. He placed a kiss onto the boys button nose, holding his body close.
"Hello lovely," Harry cooed. "Hi darling," Louis giggled, kicking the blankets up over them.
"Fancy seeing you here," Harry teased, making Louis roll his eyes fondly. "You dork," he grinned softly, pecking his lips sweetly.
"You love meeee," Harry beamed, laughing out softly. "Dammit, I do," Louis giggled.
It was amazing what the curly haired lad could do to him. He could hardly remember the terrible sad feeling he had only a half hour ago.
The two snuggled together, getting lost in the sweet touches shared. Harry pressed his forehead to Louis', a fond smile forming on both their lips.
"I love you Harry, you're my sunshine."
"I love you too Louis, you're my angel."
