The Soldier Boy

Chapter 1 Background.

Abraham laid on his back staring at the ceiling, thinking. Just thinking about how his life might change. Could it change for the worse or the better. No one knows.

Abraham came from a small poor town, who lived with his parents, 4 sisters, 2 brothers, his wife and a year old child. All in the same old damp house, with only 3 rooms which where in horrible conditions.

The 23 years old man was about to experience something new in his life, going away from his loving fMily, which was a big deal for them all.

"Tomorrow's the day!, 23 October" he sighed to him self, as his wife Alice was packing his clothes for him in their small dull room they shared.

"Will you promise to write us letters back?" Alice asked.

"I promise!" She answered back confidentially.

He still laid back just thinking and thinking. You can say over thinking.

Hi, this is just the background or introduction chapter.

So I have planned this before, because I had to write a short story for my English homework, and this is how I came up with this story, so all rights reserved or whatever to me.
