We slowly walk out of the cave and onto the beach. I slowly look at Lucy who grins at me. We then take off running across the beach towards the water with Susan and her brothers behind us. I kick off my shoes and socks running into the cold water, shrieking as my legs get wet.

I giggle as Peter grabs me around the waist and spins me around as Susan calls Edmund's name. If he's run off like he did last time they were in Narnia...

"What is it?" Peter asks looking at his brother keeping his arms around my waist.

"Where do you suppose we are?" Edmund asks.

"Where do you think?" I giggle.

"Well I don't remember any ruins in Narnia." Edmund says looking up. I look up towards the cliffs to see in fact that there are ruins.

We all stare in wonder until I pull away from Peter, collect my things, and head towards the ruins.

"Come on then." I say.

They all shrug, hurry out of the water collect their things and follow.

Its a long hike up the hills but as we approach the ruins I get a familiar feeling like we've been here before.

As I walk through the ruins holding Peters hand it all seems so...surreal. I wonder who lived here.

"Wonder who lived here?" Lucy asks voicing my thoughts as Peter and I walk over to her.

Susan starts to walk over and stops as she steps on something. We watch as she bends down and picks up what appears to be a gold chess piece.

"I think we did." She says looking at us.

"Hey, that's mine." Edmund says walking over. "From my chess set."

"Which chess set?" Peter asks. Oh you know the one he stole from the solid gold shop.

"I didn't exactly have a solid gold chess set in Finchley did I?" Edmund asks.

"I would assume not." I say as Edmund takes the piece.

"Can't be." Lucy says running off. Still haven't learned that running off is bad, I see.

I take off behind her with peter and everyone else behind me.

"Don't you see!?" She asks turning to me.

"What?" I ask confused.

She turns me around so I'm facing the ruins and moves me to a certain spot.

"Imagine walls..." She moves on to move Peter and Susan in certain spots. "And columns there." She points before moving Edmund and then standing in a spot.

"And a glass roof." She finishes. My eyes go wide.

"Cair paravel." Peter and I say at the same time.

"What even happened here?" I ask as we all start walking again.

"Catapults." Edmund says kneeling next to a broken wall.

"What?" I ask enraged.

"This didn't just happen. Cair paravel was attacked." Edmund explains.

"I'll murder the ones responsible." I say clenching my fists.

Peter gives me a look and heads to the hidden wall. When we lived here there was a secret passage way where our weapons were stowed from the Great Battle.

I watch as Peter and Edmund push back the wall to reveal a wooden doorway that had aged past its years.

Peter peels back wood so we can get the door open and I wince as it breaks. Then look at him confused as he starts tearing a piece of his shirt off. Now baby if you wanted to strip you could have asked for help.

I look at Edmund to see him staring at me. I give him a questioning look and he shrugs as peter picks up a branch and wraps the torn cloth around the branch.

"Don't suppose you have any matches do you?" Peter asks. Why in all of Narnia would he have matches?

"No but," Edmund opens his satchel and pulls out a flashlight. "Would this help?"

"You might have mentioned that a bit sooner." Peter says smirking. We all smile and Edmund heads into the tunnel, follow by me, his sisters and him following the rear.

We head down the stairs and I gasp as I see the five chests still fully intact in their beautiful glory. Statues proudly standing behind them. And here I thought everything had been destroyed.

"I can't believe it." Peter says as he pushes open the gate. "Its all still here."

I rush over to my chest which is in the middle of everyone else's. I smile opening it seeing my dresses, my fathers sword, and my bow and arrows.

"I was so tall." Lucy says causing Susan and I to look at her. She's holding one of her dresses up.

"Well we were older then." I smile at her.

"As opposed to hundreds of years later, when you're younger." Edmund says. I turn to see a helmet on his head and smile. He looks handsome. Wait..what?

I continue pulling my things out and notice Susan rummaging through her things.

"What is it?" I ask.

"My horn. I must have left it on my saddle the day we went back." She sadly replies.

I turn my head to see Peter open his chest and pull out his sword. He unsheathe it and looks at it.

"When aslan bears his teeth, winter meets its death."

"When he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again." Lucy finishes. "Everyone we knew, mr tumnus, and the beaver. They're all gone." A tear slips down her cheek.

I sniff trying not to cry and look at peter.

"I think its time we found out what's really going on." Peter says. We all nod.

I need to find out what happened to my land and my people. Narnia is once again in need of my help and I will not let them down.
