Life was just that.... life. Being born, growing up, learning, getting a job and creating a family ... then sooner or later death. Death arrives eventually.
For 17 year old, Kali Deharo life wasn't easy. She grew up in a semi wealthy family. Her father, a property developer and her mother an interior designer, decorating the properties. A team effort. With no siblings. However, Kali wasn't interested in the family business and wanted to go her own way. Kali spent most of her time with her friend Jaiden. Both of them grew up together. They first met at primary school, In year 6. Both of them new to a school. Throughout their school life from the day they met to when they split to live their own lives they had a love/hate relationship. Some days getting on and other days wanting to hit each other around the head with a chair .... made out of steel. As they went their separate ways and each moved on with their lives, both, kail and Jaiden grew distant, both going out into the world, exploring, getting jobs, and making new friends. However that is to be expected, life throwing you curve balls. Whether that is in everyday life or relationships. Kali's past was put behind her, and it would have been a lie if anyone said she didn't have any problems. Life threw her many curve balls and this story is how one curveball turned her life upside down.
For 17-year-old Jaiden Conley, life had its moments. She was the opposite of Kali. A smaller house ... simpler lifestyle and a lot fewer curveballs but regardless she was happy. She grew up with her parents and as an only child. Jaiden got A's and A*'s in most of her subjects. Top of the class. She worked for what she wanted. She chose wisely with the sort of people she hung out with and grew up with Kali by her side throughout her school life. She was an independent woman who would do things for herself. Jaiden was bright & clever but short-tempered at times. She was a trickster at the best of times and knew how to make someone laugh when feeling down. Jaiden and Kali did everything together from school to holidays such as taking a trip to Italy. Both girls had plenty of stories to share of their time as friends, stories of the journeys that they went through together. For both of them, it had defiantly been a rollercoaster. Of emotions, Triumphs, Losses, Loyalty & Friendship. However, in the end, they always came out into the light. No matter how hard they tried, they always found there way back to one another. Forever and always.
Dale was the son of Quenyeve (Eve) and Kaine (Kai / Kaizer) of the pack, with a much younger brother Jasper who was only 15. Kai and Eve were the Alpha and Luna of the pack. Equals. Everyone has a soulmate. Whether you believe in one or not. Someone who is your missing piece. Two halves that fit perfectly together that make a whole. Coming of age, Dale, 20, was beginning to lose hope. His parents were getting on in age and it was his time to be the renowned alpha of the Silver Shade Pack. His time to rule and become an Alpha. Taking after his father. Only without a Luna. Someone to rule beside him. Someone to make a new legacy with. Life was hard ruling the pack without a second in command and beta. With leading the charge into a losing battle, the renowned Alpha realised that sometimes, the only choice is the tough choice. Since turning 18 he began the search for his mate, with the help of his friends. However not much luck, with him running out of time. Desperate times call for desperate measures. The search for a mate and a beta for second in command. 2 months of feuding, resulting in the end of the war between the rival packs. Silver Shade and Ecliptic Waters. Both alphas came to an understanding with them bonding and building a pack to become one of the largest in North America. 2 years passed and no such luck. With now the new Alpha and Beta in play and mateless. The pack's restlessness unnerving Kai and Eve. Having their pack fall apart.
Tristan was dales best friend and soon to be beta of the new alpha of the silver shade pack. Tristan's parents, Kole and Myra were descendants of alphas, which was passed down through the generations. Tristan's life before meeting Dale was dull, boring and uneventful. Every day bringing a new horde of girls throwing themselves at him, solely because of his title. His parents pack, now his, was by no means the biggest or the smallest in the whole of North America. As the war waged on the numbers seemed to diminish, causing concern about the protection and strength of the Ecliptic Waters pack. Like Dale, Tristan had no such luck on finding a true soul mate to call his own. Each day became more of a struggle as his leadership was challenged. Without the presence of a lune, an alpha female to rule by his side, the pack was frowned upon, some would even call it broken. Soon enough the war ended with both parties coming to a mutual understanding and an alliance, with both packs joining their forces and numbers together. Tristan's life changed for the better after the merge had taken place. Although his title and place changed, he was thankful that the war was over. In turn, with Dales pack having more control over certain lands in North America and more numbers in his pack, they settled for Tristan's pack to join Dales, causing Tristan to become the beta to Dale. Both having similarities and things in common, the Beta and Alpha continued to search for their mates, over time becoming friends with their past behind them.
