What Am I to You? (A Neglected and Abused OC X Coco Adel)

Chapter 5

The following morning Delta awoke on the same balcony he stood on last night, he was lying on one of the benches. He was covered by a navy blue blanket, on his head, a post stick note had been stuck there with a message written on it,

You fell asleep up here so I got you a blanket, Mom x

Delta sat up and stretched. He stood up, folded the blanket up, and walked off the balcony. He looked at his scroll, it was about 0700am so students would just be getting up. As he did the other day he went to Team RWBY's dorm and smacked on the door with the back of his axe, waking them all. Satisfyed with himself when he heard the screams and the sounds of people falling out of bed, he went to Team CFVY's dorm and repeated the process.

After waking Team CFVY Delta went to staff room. He placed the blanket on the chair and made himself a Bowl of Coco Puffs and a Hot Chocolate. As he sat there in silence, Goodwitch walked in. The 2 nodded to each other, Goodwitch making herself a coffee and some toast. Port, Peach, and Oobleck all filed in as well, Ozpin being the last person in.

"You fell asleep outside again" Goodwitch annouced, breaking the silence. "I know" Delta responded "Never meant to" He defended. "You need to stop, you'll get ill" Goodwitch shot back,
"I'll be fine" Delta informed in between mouthfulls. Goodwitch sighed.

The rest of breakfast was completed in silence, the teachers going to their classes after finishing. Delta finished his breakfast and finished his breakfast and moved to his class, Advanced Grimm Combat which He and Summer taught by themselves.

When he arrived at the clearing in the emerald forest, Summer and the class had already started. The class was taught in a clearing in the Emerald forest, with Team CVFY, Yang from Team RWBY, Team CRMN (Team Crimson, 2nd Year team) and a few other 3rd and 4th year teams. Summer was talking about taking down a goliath when Delta walked over. He was wearing a balaclava with his Gas Mask on his hip, Summer wearing the same. He stood next to the Summer, and nodded. She continued the Lesson, as she did, Delta reached for his axe, spun around, and threw it, the blade burying itself into the skull of an Ursa Major. Delta ran at the beast, with his other Axe, and dodged a swipe, he leapt onto the Grimm's back, and slits its throat with his other Axe. The Ursa fell to the ground, dead. Delta retrieved his other axe, holstered them, and returned to where he was standing. Nothing was said, and class resumed, incidents like this being a common occurrence due to where they teach the class.

When it came to the combat side of the class, the group moved into the Restricted part of the Emerald Forest, the side which on 3rd and 4th Year teams where allowed to go unaccompanied. The 2nd year teams allowed to go there because it was part of a class. Almost immediately after walking into the boundary, 2 Beringel's crashed past them, fighting over something. Summer and Delta stood there, unmoving and unfazed. The oversized monkeys moved on, and the class continued moving deeper and deeper into the restricted zone going until they reached another clearing with a large Lake. This caused the class to stop and for Summer to explain the 2nd part of the lesson, whilst Delta climbed into a tree and over watched the Perimeter. 

"-You should always take great caution whilst fighting Naval Grimm. The Water is their domain and can easily overpower and kill you. Which is why, as Hunters, when engaging these type of Grimm we try to avoid getting into the water as much as possible." She explained. Both Summers and Deltas scrolls went off, with the bell sound from beacon signalling the end of the lesson. The class walked back to the original clearing in the Forest, and got a bullhead back to the Beacon. Yang was unaware throughout the entire class her teachers where her brother and stepmother. Delta and Summer walked to the staff room. As soon as they did, the pair removed their balaclavas. They sat down. Oobleck then walked into the staff room and also sat down.

"How was your class?" Oobleck asked, breaking the silence.

"Boring" Delta Responded, "nothing too fun or amusing happened." Summer shook her head and chuckled "We had an incident with an Ursa Major" She Explained "But it was quickly dispatched by Delta"
