Cyrus had been crushing on Tj for months and just didn't know how to tell him he hadn't even come out to him yet. "Buffy, I have something I need to tell you." Cyrus told Buffy he was finally going to admit his feelings for the tall jock with green eyes and blonde hair "I- well,I um- like Tj." Cyrus stuttered out. Buffy looked unbelievably pissed she just shook her head and walked away. Cyrus felt a tear stream down his cheek as he ran outside and to "his spot" which just so happened to be the same swingset Tj was at for a similar reason. "Is that swing taken?" Cyrus asked the taller boy who simply nodded in response, they swung in silence for awhile until Cyrus decided to speak up "Teej, is everything okay?" Cyrus asked concerned, Tj just simply shrugged and said "I honestly don't know." He felt a tear slide down his cheek so he quickly looked away from Cyrus "you know you can tell me anything,I won't judge you." Cyrus said slightly smiling "Well, I might have this math dyslexia called dycalculia" He said sighing "That's perfectly fine Tj!" Cyrus said as he put his hand on Tjs shoulder "there is absolutely nothing wrong with you, and you're perfect just the way you are" cyrus said smiling "thank you, Cy,apparently my basketball 'friends' don't agree though" Tj said remembering everything the team had said to him "who cares about them, there is absolutely nothing wrong with you!" Cyrus said smiling. Tj was feeling better so he said "you know just for the record, you're perfect just the way you are too!" He smirked as he said this, this boy always managed to brighten his moos "i'm the furthest thing from perfect but, Okay!" Cyrus said shrugging. Their eyes locked and Cyrus suddenly felt the urge to just tell Tj how he felt "Tj, I like you as more than a friend, and it's perfectly okay if you don't feel the same way" cyrus didn't know where this wave of confidence came from but he's glad it came because Tj didn't respond with words, but rather his lips "of course I feel the same way, Cy, are you that oblivious?" Tj asked chuckling. The two boys spent the rest of the day talking and laughing, just enjoying each others company. It was starting to get dark out and Cyrus nearly had a heart attack when be read the time '12:30' "hey,Teej,it's midnight" cyrus said looking back over towards the boy. Tj nearly fell of his swing "oh my god, my parents are going to kill me,I have to go,Bye!" Tj said pecking Cyrus on the lips. When both boys arrived home they both fell asleep feeling happy. Today truly had been amazing, even if Tj had lost his basketball friends and Cyrus had lost his "best friend" as long as they had eachother, they couldn't be happier
