I agree to this. Experience is the best teacher as they say. By experiencing a lot of pain from the wrong choices I made and from the unavoidable circumstances I was in... I learned a lot about life.
And yeah, pain is the solution to the peace that we need.
The most important peace that we need is not world peace but peace of our soul from being in enmity with God.
By sinning, our soul is bruised, pained and we're enemies of God unless the sins' wages are paid.
But thank God for the pain of the death of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, that the wages of our sins are paid for.
And by believing in Him with all my heart I experienced true peace of mind and soul living in this unpeaceful world.
