I woke up in a bus. An old school bus with dirty windows and rusted metal seats. The bus was filled with people I didn't know.
There was no driver. I looked outside, the was in a countryside environment.
Grass, river, trees, fresh air that makes you feel like you're in heaven. The blue sky with uniformly shaped clouds, spread across like speed breakers.
I was sitting beside a girl. Her skin was Ivory-ish with blonde hair. She was shorter than I was, but not too much.
She wore 1800s clothes, petticoats and shifts ? I wore some modern piece of clothing. A wore a white T-shirt, blue jeans and white shoes with a Nike logo in red.
Really had Back to the Future feels.
There were more people, all wearing strange clothes. Some wore futuristic clothes and some wore ancient clothing.
I could remember information stored in my brain, but couldn't find my own.
I didn't know who I was. I didn't even know who the girl next to me was.
I couldn't even remember how I looked, nor even my name, nothing.
I just remembered things like - movies, book, comics, educational stuff and anything that has to do with general knowledge.
Slowly, everyone in the bus started to wake up. The girl next to me was still asleep.
Everyone started fighting, like what they were doing in the bus, and asking questions like - who are you, who am I ?
No one remembered, who they were. The noise made my head ache.
'Shut up', I shouted. A few of them stopped speaking and looked at me, but some of them didn't even respond. 'Silence !'. All of them stopped and looked at me.
'Who are you supposed to be ?', asked a man in old a American accent. He wore old 1700s clothes.
'I guess if we are here without any memories, there maybe a reason', I said, in full confidence. 'I f we have to do anything, that's together and not fight each other'.
'Cool', said a woman.
'Cool ? Is that supposed to be a horse's name ?', asked the man.
'Okay, stop', I said. 'I figure that everyone is behaving like people from different time. Sir, do you remember a date ? Any date ?'.
'Not my birthdate. But I do remember a fight in the Caribbean Sea. I have bits of memories. Canons, fire', said the man.
'Uh, sir. Is America a free country ?', I asked, suspicious that he belonged to some old times.
'No, the fight was for independence', said the man.
'Oh, God', I said. The man was clearly from the 1700s. 'Excuse me, what was the last date you remember ?'. I looked at a guy wearing futuristic clothes.
'What werg ?', he asked.
'Werg ?', I asked.
'I mean, like what ?', he asked.
'Any date. Do you remember any date ?', I asked. 'Any'.
'The invention of Shwantz Room, September 1 2115', he said.
'Uh, okay', I said. 'I remember the book I last read - Casual Vacancy'.
'2015 ?', asked a guy. 'Well, I remember 2091, I remember the date from a newspaper article'.
'So, I figure, we are all from different times. Something unusual is happening here, that we need to figure out', I said.
'Let's talk about our times, it will be cool', said a man.
'No, the more important thing is to figure out what's going on', said a woman.
'Let's get out of this bus, first', I said, walking to the door and opening it.
'We can't leave her like this', said another woman. 'She is asleep'.
'Then wake her up', said a man.
'Okay, let's just go and check out that farm house', said a man, in a deep voice.
Everyone got down of the bus, except for the girl who was sitting next to me, she was still sleeping.
We walked to the farm house. 'Is anybody home ?', asked a woman.
'Anybody ? Hello ?', asked a man. 'I guess no one's home'.
Everyone started walking here and there, trying to find people who must be living there.
'Guys ?', said the man. We walked to him, only to find a small sheet, with something written on it.
Welcome. By now you must've figured that all of you don't have any memories, all of you are of the same age and from different times.
To make things easier, you must know that you are being hunted. Hunted by something very dangerous.
Your existence maybe in danger in night time. Good luck.
There was a pin drop silence in the living room. Many sat on the couch, and some lied down on the floor to rest.
'What ?', asked a woman. 'This is no time to sleep'.
'Dude, calm down. It's just a test, I think so', said a man.
'Hey. Will anyone wake up the girl, in the bus ?', I shouted, calm.
'Yeah, let's go. Can't leave her alone', said a man. He had blonde hair and a darker face. He was tall, about six feet.
We walked outside, quietly. It was getting dark second by second, so fast anyone could notice it.
'The note said that we are not safe at night', I said.
'And you believed it ?', asked the man.
'Yes, I did. But...', I said, looking at the bus, and stopped.
'What ?', asked the man.
'She... she's gone', I said, running to the bus and inside.
The bus was empty, the girl wasn't there. I got down and looked around, no luck.
'See this', said the man, turning on a flashlight and pointing it towards the Earth. 'Footprints'.
There were footprints on the ground, heading towards the road, towards the highway.
'She ran away ?', asked the man.
I started running to the direction the girl went. The highway seemed never ending. In the horizon, I could see a mountain. Everywhere else was a flat land.
The man followed me. 'Wait, I'm coming with you'.
'No. Call the others', I said. 'We need help. We can't risk, going alone'.
'Sure', said the man, running back to the farm house.
I ran on the perfectly paralleled road, heading towards nowhere.
I didn't know why, but I wanted to find the girl, I was so determined. I ran as fast as I could.
Suddenly, a loud roar was heard.
