Camila's POV
"L-Lauren?"
I asked stuttered, my breathing stopped when I realized she was in front of me. I couldn't believe it, the seventeenth person to be my soulmate was her, only her, Lauren. I closed my eyes repeatedly at what I just randomly witnessed, when I was about to say something with my lips not being able to speak properly and still stutter, she interrupted.
"Hi Camila." The woman with the green orbs greeted and smiled widely that just made my heart skip beats.
"H-hey, I didn't know you would actually be here. C-can I t-take your order?" I stumbled upon my words, damn it Camila. You're embarrassing yourself in front of her, in front of Lauren!
"Who is that?!" Natalia asked shocked, as she sneaked in to look at the seventeenth person that came inside the cafe.
"I don't know, but she sure is lowkey fire." Evan replied and shook his head both ways as he was staring at the woman with green eyes.
"Yeah, I went here just for you actually." Lauren smiled widely and gave me a little wink that made me feel so bubbly, she really knew how to knock me out with her irresistible features.
"W-why though?" I chuckled lightly as I was confused why she went to the cafe just for me, why? I asked myself.
"Well, I just want to visit you and just know how you're doing. Is something wrong with it?" She stated and raised an eyebrow at me.
"Nothing actually, it's just really questionable since you're just my newly friend? And, friends don't do that." Bullseye! I gave her hint or should I say, a signal? For her mouth something I've been wanting to know about her, I looked deeply into her emerald orbs that was driving me insane!
"What do you mean?" She furrowed and leaned in closer and my breathing hitched.
"I-I what I mean is that, friends don't really do that anyway. We can actually use our mobile phones to communicate anyway, right?" I muttered in embarrassment, damn it Camila! You had it bad.
"You're such a goof," Lauren chuckled out and I noticed how my cheeks turned into flash red that really wasn't supposed to happen.
"I know right, should I be proud?" I mumbled.
"In factorial reasons, depends on you though." She smiled and stared at me very carefully.
"Right, anyway. Do you want to order something?" I asked as I prepared the paper and pen in my hand to list the things she needed, she shifted even more closer, closer that I could feel her breath that was flowing too fast.
"I actually want to order something, it has been on my mind lately." She stated as she followed the menu that was above me, her eyes gazing upwards and I stared at them. Her eyes were one of the most beautiful gem that I have ever seen, it wasn't just a normal kind of eyes, not just a normal kind of color either, it was more to that and I admired it the most about her. I do believe that eyes can tell so much stories and tell so much about a person, and that marked on me since I first met Lauren. I stared at it deeply and it was like the shade of the ocean which I have never been to ever since we moved in Miami, It had different kinds of shades of green. Somewhere in her eyes senses me that she has something going on inside her, and I couldn't help but to suspect something and to get it out of her. I looked down immediately as she finally looked down to meet my eyes, she breathed heavily and it was crazy.
"What's been on your mind lately?" I asked.
"The 'Camilita Special'" Lauren answered and put both of her hands on both of her front pockets and slowly looking down, interlocking her ocean eyes with my sand dune ones. And that's when it happened, my breathing stopped along with my heart, I was just frozen. I knew what she meant by it, the thing that was on her mind lately was me. I don't even know why she picked that coffee, no one ever ordered it ever since my grandmother left the cafe for us to continue it's journey. I opened my mouth in a shape of an "O" as I was shocked of what she just said, I didn't know but something in me just justified by the moment I heard it and the moment she also gave me a warm connection of our eyes, I couldn't believe it all completely.
