CITY RUNNER- (Sontails and Sonadow)

Prower Corporation

This story is loosely based off of the movie Blade Runner. Later chapters will be under the category of (18+)
Contains: Violence, Swearing, and Sex.

"Police report said that they escaped last week. If you watch the video close enough you can clearly see 3 figures leaving the port..."

Silver picked up the controller and began shuffling through the screenshots on the monitor. He looked over at Sonic when the slide show ended and spoke.

"And this is why I called you here. Not many City Runners are willing to take this job. I thought that with something this detrimental that we would be needing the best of the best."

Sonic continued to stare at the screen, while leaning back in his chair. His face was unfazed and confident. He finally spoke up.

"So you say that the three escapees we're all subjects of the Prower corporation? Is their a leader between them?"

"Yes, he is refered to by the news as The Shadow."
Silver clicked a button on the controller, which brought up a picture of a black hedgehog with red stripes.
"He was one of the Main test subjects of Prower scientist. His tests were cancelled when they realized that they had created the ultimate killing machine."

Sonic looked at the picture and chuckled.
"This guy looks like a total tool."

Silver did not look amused by his comment.
"Usually I'd agree with your remarks, but this is not someone to scoff at. He's already killed several people and has gained a following of revolutionaries with the help of the two other inmates."

Sonic continued to stare at the screen with a smirk on his face.
"Heh, yeah well I guess we'll have to see how he does against this city's sheriff,"
Sonic being told to be cautious about something always fed his ego.

"Do you have any information about the other two inmates?" Sonic continued.

Again, Silver clicked a button on the controller, which brought up two images.
"One is a red echidna, designed to be able to lift a semi truck. The other is a female bat, created to be a spy for the government. Our only lead for this mission is that they seem to go after Prower scientist."

For a few seconds, Sonic continued to analyze the screen.

He then jumped up out of the chair and began to stretch his legs.
"Well, I think I know where to go too first, and there's definitely no time to waste."
And with that, he left the police room.

"Just try not to get killed on your first encounter!" Silver yelled after him.

Sonic's P.O.V-

Finally! I've been wanting one of these missions for months. Maybe it will actually be a challenge this time. Silver did look pretty nervous about it.

I walked out of the Police department and Into the elevator.
"Ground floor." I spoke to the machine

I've been a City Runner (Police/Detective) for about five years. That may not seem like much, but when you consider that most City Runner's either retire by year three, or are killed on the job, I consider myself to be a professional.

The job has it's perks too, like me not having to go back to highschool, and that I'm basically free to do whatever I want when I'm not on a mission.

I left the building and found my Spinner (flying car) waiting for me outside.
Inside of the car was my assistant, Charmy the bee.

"Hey Sonic, did you finally get that mission you wanted!!"

In all honesty, I couldn't stand his voice. He talked constantly and would whine about everything.
