After the wraith hunt in Oklahoma, Jean returns to Bobby's to help him with the phones and research while Dean and Sam travel to Housatonic, Massachusetts to investigate a possible poltergeist haunting the house of one of their old babysitters. However, Sam ends up unwillingly swapping bodies with a teenage boy named Gary Frankel via witchcraft. The two brothers manage to get Sam back into his own body and Gary back into his. Dean then scares the crap out of Gary by telling him to straighten up and fly right or they will be back to kill him.

The following week, Castiel takes Sam and Dean back in time to 1978 in order to stop the angel, Anna, from killing John and Mary before Dean, Jean, and Sam are born. Jean wants to go with them, but Castiel refuses to take her with them. He explains to her that time traveling is very difficult even with the power of heaven and that he only has enough power to take Dean and Sam with him...if he even has that much power. That and he really doesn't want to piss off Lucifer.

After Dean, Sam, and Castiel leave, Jean prays to Lucifer and when he shows up she tells him what is going on then begs for him to take her into the past in order to save her parents. "Absolutely, not."

     Jean frowns at him, "Why?"

"Because there is a very good chance that Michael will have to resolve this problem himself and I don't want you anywhere near my older brother. Castiel is cut off from Heaven, if the trip doesn't kill him, then it will leave him virtually powerless, and with little Cass out of the picture do you really believe that your brothers have a chance at killing an angel? Especially one that Dean has feelings for? No. My older brother will have to step in and kill her himself. And if I'm there in the past too? There will be a good chance of us fighting right then and there."

Jean nods, "I see your point. I just wanted to see my parents again. I wish that I could let them know that they're going to be grandparents."

Lucifer holds her close to him, "I don't know what happened to your mother's soul, but John's should be somewhere down in Hell."

"My brothers said that his soul escaped from Hell when Colt's devil's gate was opened and all those demons were freed. He helped Dean kill Azazel and then disappeared."

Lucifer nods, "His soul returned to Hell. I just never bothered to learn where he is." He kisses her forehead, "It will take some time, but I will track him down."

Bobby rolls into the kitchen where he sees the two of them in an embrace. Bobby points his shotgun at Lucifer and tells him, "You better get the hell off of my property before I fill you so full of salt that you crap margaritas."

Jean chuckles, but Lucifer isn't amused or intimidated by Bobby's threat. He grabs the shotgun from Bobby's hands before twisting it into a knot. Lucifer then leaves with the sound of fluttering wings. Jean turns to Bobby, "He just Bugs Bunny-ed you."

Lucifer returns later that night as Jean is just starting to drift off to sleep. She hears the sound of fluttering wings signaling the arrival of her husband and opens her eyes to see Lucifer standing by the side of her bed. "So why don't you want me anywhere near Michael? Castiel says that angels will instinctively want to protect me now that I'm pregnant with fledglings."

Lucifer sighs and sits down on the edge of the bed, "Most of them will, but there may be a few exceptions where the angel's hatred for me will override those instincts. I don't know if Michael will try to kill you or take you and the babies away to where I won't be able to get to you. Either way, it means that I could lose you and if that ever happens I would be devastated."

"I understand, Luci. I would be devastated if anything ever happened to you too. Which is why I'm going to do everything that I can to stop the two of you from fighting."
