I sighed inaudibly as I sat down next to Taehyung. History with him was just so annoying. He would keep asking me what the teacher was saying instead of just listening, which made me lose my concentration. And in turn, my marbles.
"Hi baby," he said as he grinned at me. I looked at him and said hello back before shooting a look over his shoulder, at Jungkook. When I saw that he was looking back at me I quickly moved my gaze to Taehyung again. I then proceeded to act my ass off. I kissed his cheek before putting my books on the table in front of me.
"What do you have planned tonight, Tae?"
His eyes widened slightly at my convincing interest, but he then just smiled even more.
"Well, as you know, my birthday is this weekend, but I'm having the party tonight."
I smiled as I looked over at him. "Oh?"
He brought his face closer to mine, propping his elbow on the table and leaning his chin in his hand. "You'll come right?" He said as he smirked. If I didn't know any better I'd think he was actually flirting with me.
My eyes flickered to his lips as he was talking. I then smiled slightly again. "Of course, I couldn't miss that could I?"
Soon the class was over, and not long after the school day was finished.
"I have no clue what to wear. What does Jungkook like?" I asked as I looked over at Taehyung. We were walking to the cafeteria where we were going to meet Nala and Sunhee. The rest of the boys were apparently ditching. He hushed me as he put his arm around me.
"Stop being so loud," he said before lowering his voice. "He likes what any other guy likes. Just wear a short dress or something." I flicked his forehead to get rid of that stupid grin of his.
Of course I ended up standing in front of my mirror in a black, off shoulder dress ending at my thighs, with long sleeves and a mesh panel at the waist. I loved the dress, but it was way out of my comfort zone, so I'd never worn it before. I ended up pairing it with a pair of white sneakers, and then I curled my hair. My make up was fine already, I'm not exactly the type to cake my face anyway.
"Adaline!" I yelled. She soon popped her head into my room.
"I'm going out with some friends," I lied. "I'll be home late, probably." She just stared at me in amusement.
"You're going to Kim Taehyung's party aren't you?"
My eyes widened as I turned to her. "What?"
She stepped inside and smiled at me. "Even the girls in my year are talking about it, and you introduced me to him just last week. I put two and two together. So are you dating?" I was slightly concerned finding out that 13 year olds are fawning over a guy 6 years older than them, but shook it off.
"No! No, no we aren't dating. Just wanted to let you know I'm leaving in case you wanted to invite friends over or something. No boys though!" I nervously hurried out of my room. "Bye Ada, I love you!"
Arriving at the address Taehyung had sent me via text, my jaw almost dropped. His house was huge. Apparently he is rich or something. I really wasn't expecting it to be honest, but now that I know, it all makes sense.
I knocked on the door as a sigh could be heard on the other end of the line. "Come on! You should both come, I'll feel so out of place here without you. You'll have fun. Pleaaaase?"
"I'll go if Sunhee goes, since you'll be glued to Taehyung's side," Nala said. I scoffed. "Sure I have to make it look like I'm there with him, but I won't be with him constantly!" Just as I closed my mouth the door flew open and I was met with the annoyingly gorgeous grin I'd gotten used to. "Please just come, I'm counting on you!" I said and hung up.
