C1: The Way It Was

The first thing you knew, you were in your bed, sleeping peacefully. But when you heard your alarm clock rang, you woke up and lazily snooze off the clock.

While rubbing your eyes, you glanced at the window and sighed.

"What a tiring day." You said.

Today, you are now a second year.

You get up on your bed and headed to the bathroom. You hang the towel on a hook and started to brush your teeth while humming your favorite song which was made by Akashi.

While brushing, you suddenly remembered the time when Akashi just shut off with you, the day you arrived at Rakuzan High. But now, your parents decided that you needed to transfer an another school. And that is Seirin High. The reason why you need transfer to another school is because your school tuition fee is getting expensive and a lot of students bullies you. So your parents decided that it would be better if you transfer to Seirin High. Since your place was near to that school.

After doing your daily routines, you locked the door and headed off to school.

When you are at the school gates, you lifted up your head and saw the board on top written: Seirin High. You sighed and walk ahead to your classroom.

You entered the classroom, not bothering that your classmates were murmuring and staring at you. Then you saw an extra seat at the back on the corner. You silently squealed because that seat was always your favorite place. You went towards that seat and slid down your shoulder bag on your arms and hang it on the side of the table.

You then checked your wristwatch, which read: 6:40. You silently exclaimed, "Woah, I'm way too early."

Since you still have a spare time to kill, you took your earphones and a MP3 player while listening to some music and take a little nap.

When you woke up, in the corner of your eye, you saw a blue haired teen sitting right next to you while drinking a milkshake.

A milkshake. You said to yourself.

You turned at the blue haired teen and greeted him, "Ohayou! [Morning!]"

He moved his eyes to his left and greeted back while sipping his milkshake, "Domo. [Yo.]"

You couldn't help yourself anymore but to drool his milkshake. The blue haired teen noticed that you were drooling and asked, "You want some?"

Finally. You said to your thoughts.

You nodded at him and the blue haired teen gave it to you. As you were about to drink the milkshake, a boy who has crimson hair and split eyebrows, immediately took the milkshake from you.

"Oi, Kuroko! Why are you sharing your milkshake to a girl?!" He glared as he pulled up the blue haired's collar. And when you heard the name, Kuroko, your eyes widened in shock as you made a scream. "EH?! KUROKO?! AS IN KUROKO TETSUYA?!"

The class got startled and surprised. Some of them glared at you and some of them thought you're a weird girl. Of course, how couldn't you be so surprised when you saw your old friend in an unexpected place? Nevertheless, you just can't help about it. You bowed and apologized at your classmates then faced back at Kuroko.

"Sorry about that," You embarrassedly laughed while scratching you hair at the back of your head. "But are you really Kuroko Tetsuya? The sixth phantom player in Teiko? Who just suddenly grew so taller than me? That's quite unfair."

Kuroko snickered and let out a laugh. "Hai. [Yes.] I can't believe you didn't remember me already [First Name]-chan."

The split brows put down Kuroko and gaped his mouth so wide because he couldn't believe how did the two of you knew each other.
