So this is about Qrow being Ruby's parent but Summer is still dead. Tai is her uncle and Yang is her cousin.

While Qrow is taking care of Ruby, Tai has gone out to buy groceries for Yang and Ruby.
"Okay, Ruby do you want to be a scythe Master?" Qrow asked 4 year old Ruby.
"yesh!!" Ruby said with no front teeth.
She gave Qrow a big grin.
Qrow just chuckled at her cute grin.
"Alright, alright, I'll teach ya when you get older. Ok kiddo?" He told Ruby.
She just nodding that she understood what he said.

*time skip: 5 hours later*

Tai and Yang were back from grocery shopping.

"We're back!" Tai said happily.
Yang ran to Ruby and gave her a big hug.
