Typically any normal story would start off with a setting. Maybe introduce one or three characters and end the chapter there, for this story, that's not the case. I'm not introducing any main characters but introducing characters of the past. The history of Jikan academy, the one and only high school in Sunrise Hill.

Gin Jikan started off as any typical person, he lived with his mother, father, and younger brother. Gin wasn't rich nor poor, he had a good education, and was an overachiever. He would win awards, he would do all the work in class, he was loved by all teachers, though the students didn't feel the same. He was constantly bullied, pushed and bruised, hair pulled and homework dumped into the river, it was a harsh childhood he had suffered through. No one in Sunrise Hill was allowed to go to high school unless you had enough money, Gin was one of the few children who could go to high school. The lucky handful of kids who could have a pretty decent education. Gin studied harder than ever before and got himself into college. After a year or two Gin wanted to make a change, a chain reaction for the good of Sunrise Hill. At the age of 21, he built a high school, specifically for the poor and the people in the middle, no more paying for high school education, as long as you have good middle school grades you'll get in. Hiring a couple of teachers and with the help of his loving family, he succeeded in making a high school for all. He had named it after his family's last name, Jikan Academy.

Seeing as there was free high school education, parents didn't have to stress over the money. No kid had to witness their parents crying about financial problems, for they could go to a high school that was free. With this, the few people of Sunrise Hill began reproducing. After the many babies being born, something changed. Strange and unique markings appeared on many of the children's wrist. This was uncommon, though when parents saw this, they didn't know what to make of it. Many parents chose to abandon their children, others kept them. Gin believed there was really nothing wrong with this and let the children with markings into his high school. After studying them for years he found they were exactly the same as a person without the marking. He spread the truth about this, yet many of the schools still refused to let these different children into their school. Many of the marking children weren't treated the same. They were seen as different and disgusting to normal people. Having a marking was something that tore the town apart. The marking would have harder times getting jobs and there house's prices when higher by the month. They were seen almost like monsters, though the unmarked were fit into the word 'monster' more than the marked. The unmarked made life almost impossible and hardest for the people with markings and many schools refused on letting the marks into there school. Though other schools couldn't accept them, Gin did, and many of them graduated.

Gin was the perfect example of starting a wonderful chain reaction after his high school was built, other high schools lowered their prices, more schools were made and more advanced teachers were hired. With this, he was awarded with a trophy for bravery, kindness, and starting the most wonderful and inspirational chain reaction.

Though, nothing lasts forever.

The next morning, the 39-year-old man was found dead. His ice-cold body lay on the floor when his wife came home from work. I had just so happened he was not murdered, but he had a heart attack. It was a devastating moment for the people of Sunrise Hill, for Gin had known everyone since he was a child. After his funeral, it was time to figure out who would run the Jikan academy. His wife had declined for she had a child on its way and didn't go to high school. For two or four days, the school was closed until they found the successor of Gin Jikan. Searching for there answer they found one, Gin's younger brother, Haru Jikan. Haru and Gin where 12 years apar making Haru 27-year-old man.

He was much like his brother, both went into high school, both loved by parents, both were bullied and so on. Haru was quite ordinary, nothing was out of order, just normal. Though even normal people can have the craziest accidents. After a month or two of guiding the school very well, he tragically got into a car crash. Though he didn't die, nor did he suffer from too much pain, something sparked inside him. Something that was hidden in the deepest and darkest corner of his heart. With a flip of a switch, a light died in his head and he was welcomed into the world once again, with a different perspective. He had an urge to see blood spill, his kind mindset died and was replaced with a sickening and murderous one. For the old him had been thrown away and the new him was in charge. Though the doctors never saw it. He seemed as typical and normal as most healthy people come and go. None of the doctors saw anything wrong with him, and so let him out of the hospital.

Being the principle of many mindless children, he saw there was nothing really interesting about this. There as nothing to make his job any more boring than it already was. This job of watching over children also meant being the boss.

With this great advantage of being a principal, he told them all to fight for his own entertainment. He would watch each of them fight with cameras he set up in the halls. Though no one out of the school knew, Haru would threaten them if they even tried to speak a single word. Even when kids found places without cameras to freely speak, parents would never believe their children, and even then, Haru knows who would snitch. Saying Haru was only smart was an understatement, he is a genius, maybe more.

Over these years, no one outside of the school knew what was going inside. This was just a typical high school who allowed teens with markings to come in and give them an education. Though, what most didn't know was that this school was anything but typical. The history of Jikan academy had never seemed to cross the minds of townspeople, too busy with their lives to wonder and ponder such things. This only left a greater advantage to the insane principal.

The teens who possessed a mark who lived in Sunrise Hill where completely oblivious to what would await them. For the school seemed like the best possible choice that would ever be given to them, so might as well snatch it before that opportunity is gone. Ten kids who were ready for high school and most of which didn't know each other's names would never believe the situation they would get into after stepping foot into the school.
