I've always enjoyed being independent. The ability to control my life without anyone else in it has been effective for me the last seventeen years.
Being an only child, I didn't have to worry about siblings so I was on my own. Until that one fateful day. The day my whole life changed, or good and for bad. A day that would scar humanity for eternity, a scar that can't just go away with some vitamin E cream and proper treatment.
This was one for the history books, and like the bombing of Pearl Harbor, I was sure that this day will live in infamy.
